idk if im doing it wrong but if i pick up one thing like o2 it fills all my invintory with it is there a way for it just to fill one slot or? please help thanks

So i would start with finding out what one triggers it, I normally only keep on the ones i need at that time on.

It is currently in the update queue. I'd suggest waiting for the trainer to be updated and trying again. If it still does that, verify the integrity of the game files and try a new game save instead.
