#I Can't Download Wemod

So i have this problem where, i try to download Wemod but i get an error messege because it won't download automatically. So i have to download it manually.
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message>
</Error>

My problem started when the update came, i tried to update it, but it wouldn't let me (came up with the same error messege).
I have tried restarting my computer, and i can't think of nothing else (Because i'm not very good with computer stuff).
I had to update recently and haven't tried to open Wemod since that update until now.

Please help 😅

Oh btw i can't even open Wemod, so any in menu support i can't reach 🥲

And just to clarify when i said in the bottom of my post "I had to update recently and haven't tried to open Wemod since that update until now." I mean my computer had to update, so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

If you guys are using a VPN turn it off or try a different location

I am having the exact same issue. I tried to use the suggestions given in here, but nothing has helped me. Anyone having suggestion(s) of what i should do? i was reading on 1 to +2 years old forum posts, but those didn’t work either.

I am attaching a picture of the issue I have, when trying to install it. I also get the same error message, as Spicedollx gets, when I try to click on “Download Manually”

Please follow these steps:

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these two places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC
Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.

I tried using different locations. From United Kingdom to USA and even different locations in Asia

I just can't do it.
I deleted all the file from the PC and I can't do that with the VPN because I have too little experience with something like that. Especially since I live in Germany and also have a hard time with English and yet I think it's great how much they try to help each other. I probably won't be able to use WeMod anymore, but what I can say is that it was really great how it increased my enjoyment of the games.
Thanks to everyone who has brought such a project to life and keeps it running. Vielen Dank für den Spaß den ich bisher dank WeMod hatte.

Do you have any other suggestion(s) for me?

Because when using a VPN (I pay for NordVPN) and using incognito browser, I personally find it odd, that I can’t install it, without I’m getting the same “NoSuchKey” error over and over again, no matter the connection I’m trying to use. Even my AV is disabled 🤔

played on wemod yesterday, today something went wrong, can't install it again, error code.
never used vpn ever. only today it happened, error and continued error

i think it has something to do with the latest windows update as im also experiencing this but my laptop isnt which has windows 10 on it so it could be something with windows 11 and its latest update

My VPN location is the netherlands. I don't know if it'll help but yeah. I booted up my vpn and as soon as i tried downloading wemod (After i restarted my PC) it worked and it let me download it.
