I cant install we mod, I have deleted any instance of wemod from my machine even the web browser cookie for wemod, Turns off all firewalls, tried the offline installer. Even repaired .net framework's on my machine and i still get an error. Im stumped at what to do.

@random topaz are you still facing this issue?

#

The troubleshooting below is for those getting these error messages or similar:

There was an error installing the application.
Failed to extract installer.

Please follow these steps:

Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these two places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp

C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Restart your PC
Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.

Are you the main user on the pc?

Currently there's no information regarding WeMod in that log which makes me think its isolated to your pc. I recommend removing any files or folders I previously listed and then restarting your computer.

After restarting, please perform some basic scans to check for issues on your PC, such as an SFC scan and Disk Cleanup, etc. These steps I provided earlier normally resolve this problem.

Well, I would start scanning your PC for any potential corrupted windows files and maybe even try uninstalling discord to see if that installer was somehow clashing with it because the logs were showing discord logs.
