Can you share what you are seeing
Please follow these steps:
Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these two places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Restart your PC
Turn off your antivirus programs. Even if it’s just the default Windows Defender.
Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.
Hmmm
Before I started the game but when I was going to activate something it closed, now it's giving me this error
This only happens when the game is started?
Like wemod can run fine in the background?
It could be something with your game files. Which game are you trying to play on?
yes
Sorry I thought this was happening when you opened wemod
I start the game through wemod and get this error
Which game?
and with all the games, there are games where I used wemod and it never gave this error
I would start with some basic checks of your PC, Check your PC or any errors or corrupted windows files. Clean up your drives and scan them for errors.
If everything worked fine then all of a sudden you have these issues then I would start looking at that.
Before I didn't get this error, I just closed it, then my Windows was out of date, after updating it's giving me this error
Yeah, Definitely sounds like a file somewhere has been corrupted
You can try to follow these steps I recommended on another post
Let me just copy them over here
ok
I recommend removing wemod completely and running the System File Checker (SFC) to check for any corrupted system files that might be causing this problem.
Please follow these steps:
- Press
Windows key + Xand selectCommand Prompt (Admin)to open an elevated Command Prompt. - In the Command Prompt, type
sfc /scannowand press Enter. - Restart your computer once the scan is complete.
If the SFC scan does not find any corrupted system files, please try the following steps:
-
Open Command Prompt as an administrator by pressing
Windows key + Xand selectingCommand Prompt (Admin). -
In the Command Prompt, type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each command:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanhealthDISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
-
Close the Command Prompt, restart your computer, and check if the application works.
