Hi! May I know where did you buy your game from?
Hi! i buy game from Epic Games
It's been almost a year since I bought the game. I've played it with WeMod without any problems until now, but now I'm having this problem.
Gotcha. Seems like you pre ordered the game. if WeMod was unable to find your game automatically, you can manually link the game's exe. Follow the steps here to link your game here
I tried this but it didn't work
I see. try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders on your AV:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
i tried it too 😂
Hi, have you tried to launch your game first on Epic? Ensure you are using the latest trainer version before hitting the Play button. Also, have the most recent version of the game as well.
Hi, yes i checked all of them and I tried starting the game first and then running WeMod, but it didn't work.
Apart from WeMod, do you utilize any other modding tools? Also, please try verifying game files and see if that could help.
Open Epic Games Launcher > Navigate to Game Library > Access Game Options the three dots (...) next to the game's name > Manage > Verify
No, I do not use any program other than WeMod, I verified the files, I think there is nothing left that I haven't tried, but the problem is not solved.
Have you also tried adding this to your antivirus exclusion?
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod\App\trainers
Try relinking your game's exe file again, but this time, use the exe file you find using the method described below.
- Launch the game from Epic.
- Open Task Manager.
- Right-click on the open game in Task Manager. Select Open File Location. A folder should open with the correct .exe. Link that file to WeMod.
If nothing works, the only thing I can think of is to try reinstalling WeMod. Perform a clean install and delete these folders.
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Then, uninstall the program, restart your PC, and attempt to download it again. After the reinstallation, add these folders to your antivirus exceptions.
