Elden Ring Saves

Hello!
After having modded a character to the point where I want it to be, I sit by a Site of Grace or similar to save the character and turn the game off afterwards. Upon later starting the game again, through Steam, without WeMod running the character no longer exists. Does anyone have any suggestions to what the reason for this could be?

Does it come back when you turn the trainer off? I have never heard of this ever.

Is your game pirated by chance?

Game is not pirated, and the characters are gone. They no longer exist in backups or anywhere

unfortunately losing your game saves would not be related to wemod. Have you checked if you used cloud saves and is it enabled?

Yes, Cloud Saves are enabled and as long as I am not running WeMod during gameplay the character is still there after restart. I guess I'll just play without WeMod for now and hope it starts working again at a later point! 😂 Thanks anyway though!

Never heard of it happening, Wemod only changes value through ram it doesn't alter or tinker with gave saves. Have you tried verifying the game files?
