You only need to do the steps if the app is not able to manually find your game. Was this what you are experiencing?

It simply wont load I just get the failure error
it says having trouble loading mods into the game

I dont even know where to start, I found the file location but nothing is an exe. Just an icon with game logo

delete any other steam_appid document in the games folder if its there and create a new text document with 1245620 written in the document then make sure its named steam_appid
