Hi there! Which game are you referring to?
Brawhalla
Have you read the Read before playing section in WeMod for the Brawlhalla trainer?
yeah
And you've downloaded the bypass and followed the instructions on how to use the bypass?
yeah
Can you show me what it looks like in the game directory?
wym
Send a screenshot of your game directory, showing the BrawlhallaEAC.exe and BrawlhallaEACbackup.exe files
,
Okay, I see your issue. Here's what you need to do. Give me a moment while I write out some instructions.
Firstly, close the game.
- In your Steam library, right-click the game and click Properties
- Click Installed Files, then click the Browse... button
- Rename the EXISTING BrawlhallaEAC.exe file that is already in that folder to BrawlhallaEACbackup.exe
- Drag & drop the DOWNLOADED BrawlhallaEAC.exe file into the game directory
After that, send me a screenshot of the game directory so I can verify the bypass has been installed correctly 🙂
.
Okay, you've renamed the wrong file. You need to rename the one that was already in that folder
hold on
.
Huh, interesting. It's not even there... Oh well, that works too. Remove the backup from the name of the bypass
OOP
W
Wait
Sorry, I just saw it, my bad
it was there i renamed it
Okay, so... if you refresh that folder by clicking the circle-arrow icon (or by pressing F5 on your keyboard), does it look like this?
The file that's 3409 KB in size should be the one with 'backup' in the name, and the one that's 120 KB in size should be the one without backup in the name
Once it looks like that, launch the game either through WeMod or through Steam (then click Play in WeMod)
So what does your game directory look like right now?
.
Okay, so that's correct. In that case, usually if that error pops up, it's due to the antivirus. Try adding that bypass file as an exception to your antivirus, as well as the WeMod folders listed here
Your antivirus software may be interfering with WeMod. Try whitelisting or adding any exception for these two folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
noting shows up when i search for C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
i cant find wemod
Interesting. Might not be a problem though, so long as you have added the bypass file as an exception to your antivirus as well
If that doesn't help, delete the bypass and re-download it
okay
ay bruh my mods still wont stay on
i tried left for dead and they still wont stay on
is your game pirated?
no
Are you in a multiplayer match when your using it?
no
Offline singleplayer?
yeah
Which one wont work?
all of them
Does it say play or playing on the app?
Games completely vanilla? No other mods or addons?
yeah
What version of wemod are you using? Can you send me a screenshot of these two pages?
Also which map are you trying to play on?
.
the apartnent
i tried the apartment
Just want to double check you clicked singleplayer and not campaign.
i did click singleplayer
I would try to verify your game files.
