Even after following the instructions in #📚┃frequently-asked-questions i'm having trouble getting past this screen (ss). The one time i have gotton past it, i was told my pc couldnt open the "file" without another app

- First install failed
- Second Install went to the file screen
- Third & Fourth attempts failed
Ive deleted any wemod related files each time & restarted my pc after the file error

Navigate to these two places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Restart your pc then Install the software.

If you cant find those folder paths make sure to double check by clicking view>Show>Hidden items

I have never seen this tbh im really sorry! I'm going to try to reinstall on my end and see if i can replicate it.

If I understand correctly, the installer ran and it tried to open WeMod after installing, but it can't find it, hence why Windows is asking for a way to open the "wemod" link
This would seem like an AV issue

Your antivirus software may be interfering with WeMod. Try whitelisting or adding any exception for these two folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

oh nevermind! after looking into appdate/local/wemod , its installed just fine
seems like an error with it opening, not installing
