Hey there, Find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC? Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

You can try the following:

  • Try to initiate the Run dialog on your PC by using the keyboard shortcut WIN + R.
  • You should see a window will appear.
  • In this window, enter "appdata" and click the "OK" button.
  • Then verify the presence of a folder labeled "Squirreltemp" within the "appdata > local" directory.
  • If you do locate a folder named "Squirreltemp," kindly proceed to delete it.
  • Make sure that you only remove the "Squirreltemp" folder and avoid deleting any other files or directories.
    Restart your PC
    Now, proceed to reinstall WeMod.

How about Doing a clean install, deleting these folders C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod
and C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod.
Then, uninstall the program, restart your PC, and attempt to download it again.

Press Win+R
paste C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
that would be the folder path for it

# dull elk Is there another solution?

While there could be other factors, such as software or hardware issues, causing WeMod not to launch, reinstalling Windows can often resolve it. It definitely provides a clean slate and eliminates any potential conflicts or corruptions within the operating system.

I completely understand your situation. It seems that WeMod's app is running smoothly from our end. I suggest checking if your GPU driver is up to date or restarting your PC. If the issue persists, it could be due to software conflicts or hardware-related issues. That's why we're recommending reinstalling Windows—it can often resolve such persistent issues by providing a fresh start.
