Have you tried launching your game first, and once you are in the game and able to move, switch to WeMod and press play? Also, ensure you are using the latest trainer version. You can check this on the history tab.

Strange. The only thing I can think of is to try to get the latest version of the trainer by clicking the DOWNLOAD TRAINER button at the top of this forum discussion and see if any changes were made.

Your antivirus software may be interfering with WeMod. Try whitelisting or adding any exception for these two folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
