I'm unsure what guide to follow but I've tried multiple and never seem to have any luck getting it to work. I'm very tempted to get a Pro sub but first want to make sure I can get it to work on my Steam Deck.

So, I have ProtonUp-QT and Protontricks and also tried the Steam Trick Launcher thing with winetricks. When I tried to install the .net 4.8 via the Uninstall option, it did nothing. I have no idea how to get it working?

I also had issues before getting some games to open with GE 7.3.5 because it would pop up saying the game can't run in windows 7 or must be run as Admin. Anyone with experience with Steam Deck that can help me figure out how to get it all set up since the current guides aren't working for me? Thanks..

Ok, I think I mostly will need help from someone to walk me through the setup since I keep having issues like the installer for 4.8 not doing anything, games giving me errors when trying to load in proton, etc.
