Because I'm impatient with clicker games and wanting to see what further along the game was like in Cell to Singularity, to figure out if I wanted to keep playing it, I activated the WeMod mods that are currently in the client. A pop up warned me that the game version was different and the mod may no work anymore - this is fine, I've played a couple of WeMod mods that didn't work anymore, I'm not worried.
I use the Mod, and it actually works, I'm pleasantly surprised, used it a bit, upgraded some stuff, thought 'cool, noted', and closed the game - then realized that I had forgotten to do a 'side quest' thing and re-opened it, only to find that my save file is wiped and the game thinks I just downloaded the game for the first time lol
So admittedly I'm upset, but I do recognize that I was warned that the mod may no longer be compatible with the game - though I do think that warning should include 'This may mean your whole save file gets deleted' because when I think 'no longer compatible', I think it just won't work, not that it will literally blow up my game lol So this can be considered 2 feedbacks in one to perhaps mention the more 'dire' possibilities of using an older mod to avoid something very unwanted~ The thought of 'your save file may be deleted' never crossed my mind with the current warning language used.
The main point of this post though is to ask/suggest that if the creator, or someone else, doesn't want to update the Mod, deleting it may be a wise idea because I suspect I will not be the only 'victim' of this mod in its current state lol
