Hi all! Not sure if this has been asked or not but here we go... I am having an issue with the WeMod Remote app on my iPhone. It is no longer staying connected to the WeMod app on my PC after I close the app on my phone. After I open it again I get the "Type your pin" screen were as before it would just connect to my PC as soon as the WeMod app on my PC was loaded. The other thing that is not working on the Remote app is that it no longer flips from portrait to landscape mode. I have checked for updates but nothing yet.

Hi, are you using a VPN or a mobile hotspot for the internet? Also, could you please share your iPhone model and iOS version?
No VPN, my iPhone model is 14 Pro Max and it is connected to my PC via my modem Wi-Fi.
Sorry I forgot to say my iOS version is 17.4.1
Are you forcefully closing the app? If yes, then that's what happens while the landscape should work on a tablet or iPad.
I have forced closed the app in the past and re-opened it say the next day and it connected without any problem without the need to re-enter a pin. Landscape mode used to work on my iPhone but now it doesn't.
Can you try to re-install both WeMod App on your phone and PC?
I re-installed both apps but still the same problem 😦
In this case, please try connecting to remote.wemod.com from any browser on your phone and see if it still persists.
I tried via Opera GX and it connected fine but if I close the tab or the app I have to reconnect with a new pin.
When you close out the tab or app it kills the session
Landscape mode has been disabled for any non tablet devices
Landscape mode has been disabled for any non tablet devices? Well that sucks. Please reconsider disabling it as I don't have a tablet. 😦 If closing the app now kills the session instead of retaining it I will have to live with it.. Thanks to all who responded have a good one and keep up the great work!
Unfortunately it doesn't play well with some of the feature of the remote. I'll definitely pass along your feedback though and we will see if there is some way to make landscape work with other devices.
