Hello, I have a problem with the game Hearts Of Iron IV
When I load the game from WeMod and start the game timer, the game immediately crashes.
Despite "MrAntiFun"'s assurances that everything works, unfortunately this is not the case, and on the WeMod support website many people struggle with this problem

When you are in your singleplayer campaign and tab out to click play does it still crash?

If I run WeMode during the game, it hangs in the same way after the game time is started. I've tried all sorts of ways

With WeMode I can launch the game when I only have a few mods running, but this is not satisfy. I mean only 3-5 mods (quick research or quick achievement of a goal)

Hey I have a problem with the trainer, you see whenever I want to use the console trainer for specific command the game would crash. The command in question I am having issues while having the trainer activated is the focus autocomplete and the focus no checks. I know I could just use the Focus Instant Complete on the Trainer but I use that the Console Command for specific countries being able to go down the resources focus tree path without having to waste an in game day and/or want them to go on a specific path quickly. Ping me when you see the message.

Can't you just update wemod to the new version of the game?

The trainer is up to date. MAF replied to the thread showing everything is working correctly for him

If he cannot reproduce the issue there isn't much he can do about it

I can verify its not working, if you want I can record it and my wemod. The current issue is with the unlimited resources cheat, where if you use it it immediatly crashes the game. plus since he last updated with that post, the game has been updated several times anyways so it wouldnt hurt to check again right?

The trainer is working properly

it is tested after every game update

The unlimited resource cheat is the one that crashes the game for me as well and if i use the enable ironman console cheat and use the console commands Focus.NoChecks and Focus.AutoComplete it will crash the game every other cheat works fine, i have bought the game from steam

🙋 I can verify that as well, may try it without the unlimited resources though. Sometimes I don't notice that it's on before starting WeMod.

yeah the main critical issue right now with the trainer is the unlimited resource cheat. but I really enjoyed using it so I hope you guys dont just remove it from the list

Are you trying to use it online? in coop or anything?

nope just solo

ive tried both with and without mods.

basically, i can load into the map just fine

but after unpausing with the cheat active. boom instant crash after it ticks to the next hour

Can you provide me with some more details like, What map you are on or what team, Anyting we can use to try to replicate the problem.

im pretty sure any nation has the issue but the ones ive specifically played are finland and argentina. as said if you have the unlimited resource cheat active you can load in to the map and setup your country (as long as its still paused) but after you hit unpause. as soon as it gets to 2:00 january 1936 it hangs. I think the game is checking the resource values as it ticks as when playing the game normally you can do trades but the resource values dont change unless you unpause

for example

bear in mind this is black ice but the main fundementals stay the same

but

i have a current trade running with the british to get rubber but as you can see the import value hasnt changed while im paused

now

after it ticks one hour

the resources get updated as you can see from the rubber now having the imported value from my trade

what i suspect is happening (although im not very experienced with making cheats) is the game is checking the two values/something changed with how the game reads the resources, which is causing the game to crash as it updates to the next hour

oh no i was talking about in general, but i was in the middle of my own hoi4 game so I decided to use that as an example for overall how trade and the resource tab works in hoi, but if you were wondering its black ice ;-;
