I tried everything to no avail. I installed my games on D: drive, and WeMod can not find them. Antivirus is down, exe's were moved manually etc. I am attaching the log for information.

Are you installing them in a Steam or Epic Games directory? If the games are just in a loosey goosey /Games/ folder, WeMod won't look for them there

Game is installed here: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr

#

No matter, even after dragging the exe file WeMod still can not start

You mean as a custom exe? Removing the custom and restarting WeMod might help.

To find the correct custom exe, you can load up the game to the main menu and click "open file location" in task manager.

#

Either way, the real game exe is most likely not in the main game folder, but somewhere deeper in the file structure

it is most definitely the correct exe, opened up the file location using the task manager

#

I really think someone needs to take a look at the log I shared

#

Restarting and reinstalling WeMod also did not help

#

Does the same for a number of games

#

Also at first start WeMod does not see the games installed on Steam

The article will contain steps to take. Just toggling off Windows Defender in its menu does not work, it'll perceive threats anyway.

I have done everything stated in the article. Then I actually removed Windows Defender using Github. The problem still continues, I am 100% sure it is related to the fact that the games are installed on D:.

#

Please take a more in-depth look at this log:

#

On first launch, WeMod should be able to see games on Steam, regardless of Windows Defender or any other AV. It also fails to do this.

#

My Windows language is Turkish, I do not know if it is relevant.

#

I just downloaded another game from Steam and installed it on C:, works like a breeze.

#

same pc, same everything.

#

WeMod recognized the game installed on C:

#

So the problem is definitely with WeMod, and I wasted a lot of time dealing with Windows Defender for nothing.
