I tried the Add Item option and it doesn’t add the item. I select the item I want and click add item and it doesn’t show in my inventory. This was tried in single player btw. But is it WeMod? Or is it me?

Any item, but I did try adding the shovel, skull and some other stuff

Yeah, So I think some of them are just not functioning correctly, Depending when you use it as well, If you are already in the bag and you use it then you'll need to close and open it again for some items.
I would definetely reach out on the trainers discussion page as to which ones so far you find are not working.
