You know, it's probably because of the fact that MCC is cross-play compatible. I think that earning achievements in the Xbox version (or Windows version) of the MCC will carry over to the game on Steam. Even when I launched it on steam, I had to sign into my Xbox account, so that's probably why.

The game wasn't buggy or anything if that's what you're thinking (apart from some audio delay). It's mostly about the severs, trying to find people to play firefight. And I don't think custom firefight matches allows players to earn seasonal points. I don't know, I'm experimenting with this myself as I play.
But performance wise, I would say the game is doing pretty well so far. Like I said, it's mainly been audio delays that I've found to be buggy (although it's inconsistent, when there is a delay, it can last for a while relatively speaking, about a second or two).

On Pc, if you have a monitor with a refresh rate above 60 Hz, you can actually set it in the video settings menue so that the game runs with an "unlimited refresh rate" or at least up to the cap that your monitor can handle.
Whether the game runs at 60 fps is of course dependent on both the monitor and the graphics card.

You know, actually, maybe someone should write to 343 (if that's even possible) and establish some kind of procedural deal. It's not as though WeMod allows for multiplier cheating anyways. Neither does 343 when it comes to its games, so there's really no conflict of interest. Exactly what I've been saying. SP is not a multiplayer or online environment, so there would be no violations of the guidelines. But they're not going to bother creating a trainer that allows for achievements to be earned (at least not on Steam) because the Steam platform allows for players to bypass the easy anti-cheat software. That's why I've been so vehement into getting in the votes for a trainer to be made for Halo MCC windows store version, specifically so that a trainer can be made, allowing us, the players, to earn achievements. The reason for this is because I don't think the Windows Store version allows for easy anti-cheat to be disabled, thus a trainer made would have to bypass the software, allowing us to earn achievements.
Well, now the votes are in, players want a trainer to be made for Halo MCC Windows Store version. Whether one will actually be made (and more importantly, whether one will be made that will allow us to earn achievements) is the million dollar question.

Yeah I just checked by playing the first mission "Winter Contingency" on Herioc. It was my first time completing it on steam with EAC enabled and I got the achievement for it. So it looks like disabling EAC also disables achievements, so we can't even use WeMod cheats (even if we limited our activity to single player campaign only) to earn achievements.

Well you can't earn credits in Halo MCC like you did back in the old Halo Reach. 343 revamped ranking so that instead we would use seasonal points to unlock "tiered" items. There are youtubers like HiddenXperia who can explain it way better than I can.

I never had the desire to pay for any of the CH stuff, and I still don't. But I am kind of jealous that they (apparently) got around the achievement deal. Although I'm now wondering if achievements are just borked in general. I tried replaying Winter Contingency multiple times without CE/WeMod (with EAC enabled) and can't for the life of me get the achievement to unlock for killing 7 Moa (the osterich-looking things) or for completing the campaign without entering a drivable vehicle.

I found out that CH uses a modified version of mcclauncher.exe where you're supposed to select the normal game instead of the EAC disabled version. That's how they're able to get Steam achievements. Do we know if anyone is working on this with FRF or WeMod? I haven't heard any chatter about it, but it'd be cool if that's something that we could replicate.

For some reason the infinite health/shields doesn't work in the Nightfall mission in Halo: MCC (Steam). Everything else appears to be working, but those two are borked for me no matter how many times I turn them off and then back on, or restart the mission.

@lament field, The outage on the 7th was caused by Googles SDD network for their cloud services suddenly failing.
Their I/O count went from around ~2ms to 150+ms.
Sadly Discord uses their cloud services for their own network services, which meant Discord lagged like hell and when Google took down their cloud servers for examination and repair, it shutdown SEVERAL networks (not just Discord.) in the process.
Discord itself was fine.

Voting is not made just for Pro users. Voting for a game or voting for an update can be done by non-Pro members. If there isn't an option to vote for an update for a game that was recently updated, go to the forum and politely request the option to vote for one be added.
The only major thing behind a paywall is the ability to use the smartphone/tablet app. Everything else can be done regardless of whether you have Pro or not. Pro is just a way of buying the devs a coffee to say thanks for hours of fun.

It'll begin the start up process... and it'll begin the anno1800.exe being added to the running processes but it'll never load a game window or completely start... you then have to close the process by alt+ctrl+delete

In the WeMod desktop software with the trainer up, click "History" on the top-right and make sure you have the newest trainer selected.
