If you're Android, please enable 'show touches/taps' option in developers option of your device settings, you can search how to do so up on google. If it shows touches and still isn't registered by game, then record your screen with touches enabled and report it to in game support. For iOS, such stuff doesn't exist sadly
Whenever you face this issue, try going to the recent apps menu and back to the game, most of the time this fixes the issue. Clean your screen and make sure there is nothing else other than your hands interacting with the touch screen
