I'm unable to log into my google play account and I've already tried all the workarounds suggested on the support website. It says Error 1002 whenever I try to log in.

First, do the following before trying workarounds; update the Google Play Services app from the Google Play Store. Also update the Google Play Games app.

Workaround 1:

  1. Delete app cache and data for Critical Ops
  2. Start the game with new guest account, DO NOT link to Google or Facebook yet.
  3. Complete tutorial.
  4. Go to Play → Custom Games → Filters → Server
  5. Change to another server (do not use the 'automatic' option)
  6. Link to your account.

Workaround 2:

  1. Close the game.
  2. Go to the 'Settings' menu of your device
    (For devices running Android 5.0 or below this setting can be found in "Google settings" app)
  3. Tap on 'Google'
  4. Tap 'Connected Apps'
  5. Find our app, 'Critical Ops', tap on it
  6. Tap 'Disconnect'
  7. Delete app cache and data for Critical Ops, complete tutorial and login via Google again.
