This falls under the “Xbox Soft Lock” bug report that was opened at the end of May. Unfortunately ppl affected (including myself) have been locked out of their account on the game since then.

Some fixed I’ve heard of:

  • purchase something in the armory on your account on another system (pc or xbox), it fixes the account sync for some ppl but did not work for me*
  • Create a guest account on your xbox and play using that. A second email will be required but the accounts can be tied together
