Hi everyone if you don’t know me I am a console player for the game chivalry 2(duh). The amount of discrimination the console community faces is unreal. Let me get on with known issues. As you know dragging is when you delay your swing as long as possible to land a hit after their counter window is active. On pc if you go to far you are still able to recover in time to perform the block action. On console however you are not able to recover and have to eat a free it essentially. This prohibits maximum dragging potential on the console side. It took the team two whole YEARS to add chase mechanic to the console community. We still do not have access to chat, there isn’t an ingame function to turn off controller vibration(it’s 2023). We still cannot customize controller mapping, a basic function most current games have. CONSOLE CANNOT JOIN PASSWORDED SERVERS!!!!Next gen consoles don’t have access to 120fps even though the capabilities are there, and with every update the distance between the games becomes every greater. Honestly releasing a console port was a mistake if their intention was to simply do this. Many players on the console side have quit chiv 2 due to the obvious favoritism this game exhibits. Pc players will just say “get a pc” 5 years ago that would be a valid take. With next gen consoles being better than most pcs, that shouldn’t be an argument. We have the hardware, and software. It is 2023. Genuinely torn banner is one of the worst developmental teams I have experienced as a player, “it’s on our radar” isn’t going to cut it anymore because quite frankly the radar is broken.
