This is a message for the developers and all console players. If you are unaware, console players are missing an entire combat mechanic. I have been playing this game sinc
e launch and have over 1k hours logged as a PS5 player. After discovering said issue, I think I will be uninstalling the game until this issue is fixed. We have forgiven the devs for a lot of things. But this is too much.

Feinting is a major gameplay mechanic that is mandatory to use while playing this game. Console players back in the day will remember when we ran into the issue of same attack feints. Nowhere in the tutorial does it tell console players how to same attack feint, it's a very odd button combo that doesn't have ant correlation with the basic controls. Using left trigger to same attack feint was very odd, but we figured it out. We all had to figure it out, because TB wouldn't tell us. I remember asking support if they could tell me how to do it, they could not.

To this day many players don't know you can same attack feint on console because of this hidden control scheme they don't show us. I know they tried to fix it, but remember they botched it all to hell, reverted it, and told us that's it no more changes. Okay. Now we come to the real issue

Console players can same attack feint, as neutral, as a counter, but not a riposte. PC players can. HOW DO YOU LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR PLAYERBASE. Gimping them of an entire gameplay mechanic! Was it not enough we can't THROW? Was it not enough we went without server browser for a year and a half? We have to play a game where we are like second class. In a PVP crossplay game you need parity across all systems. It's ridiculous what the devs get away with here and should be a model for all crossplay enabled games going forward on how not to run a game. I may add more to this later on but right now I gotta go into work

I still haven't really figured out how this stuff works in any sort of consistent way. Same-attack-feints are so damn awkward. Until I read this, i wasn't even sure that's actually what it was that i experimented on, rather than a simple attack-cancel.
Please, if you're not gonna change how this stuff works, at least explain how this weird system works. After like 100 hours i still haven't figured out and I hate it.
Your tutorial is otherwise fucking amazing, so I cannot believe you can't teach us this as well.
