this happens to me (and others anecdotally) almost 100% of the time if I stay on a server after horse maps. The only solution seems to be leaving and rejoining the server.

I've noticed this happen a lot when I special attack. As stated above leaving and rejoining fixes it for me usually.

this issue can be recreated easily by playing through a full FFA Hippodrome match. It seems like the more you ride a horse during a map cycle, the worse the issue is afterwards. Once Fighting Pit starts, the movement drift starts happening pretty quickly.
Feels kinda like a directional input is being held without you actually pressing anything. Jumping or spamming dash sometimes works to “unstick” the ghost input, but it always comes back randomly unless you rejoin.
You’ll often hear players say they are being sucked into traps etc but it’s due to the movement glitch in my experience
