I can't speak for everyone, but i would hope my opinion is representative of most players... as much as we love new content, i think we'd all rather Torn Banner prioritize bug fixes and promised QOL improvements. I've noticed a marked change in the playability of the game since the Tenosian update. Before that happened I had far fewer issues

and if they are working on it or not, just to simply acknowledge our concerns would be a vast improvement

i will do as Silvercase suggested and try an ethernet cable but as I said, i'm not the only one experiencing the stuff in the video and it may not be a network dependent issue at all. Regardless, the main point of the OP is that there seems to be a lack of communication, acknowledgement, and focus on the issues we as the community care about right now.

Like the blocking at weird angles technically makes sense when you watch it back but it isn't clear as to why it happened in gameplay

The blocking hitboxes are more precise to the weapons physical location when means blocking while looking slightly up can allow blocking attacks from basically behind you

But say the projectile thing

Projectiles are serverside

The projectile visuals are clientside

Which leads to large inconsistencies when you throw players in the middle

really I think projectiles should be full clientside aside from firepots for obvious reasons

Right now there is nothing to do in this game if you don't want to cycle through the TO loop for hours. Caves of Quds had a roadmap that's lasted for about 7 years, yet they've slowly hit across all the content on the roadmap. This games been barely out for a year, they've shuffled the roadmap a bit, the idea that that means this stuff will "never" come out is ridiculous

Its funny you ask that, I often think about that especially as I'm making my own indie game now, and at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what I want, its about what the community as a whole wants, I've been scrapping ideas and designs left and right because they were too objective to what I wanted. Why this matters in this context is that everyone here expects and wants slightly different things from the ideal Chivalry 2 experience, even if some or most stuff ends up overlapping, like private servers and that is 100% unrealistic to realize all of those things. We can all agree on this I believe. The problem has arisen from when even casual players like me want the same thing as the competitive community and it still wont be prioritized or realized. Even something nearly everyone who posted on was in agreement about, we're all still waiting for a year later?

Yeah duels for me aren't a stickler, I think dueling in this game is lame overall. They should add it back on though. What I do care about is SDK/private servers, because they're more stable, you get cool communities of players who get very used to fighting eachother which creates better matches, and you can even make ranked servers where the host of the server just keeps a MMR system going on that specific server

MMR is literally just number go up, number go down

There just aren't enough mechanics/character differences to keep duels interesting. Fighting games are cool because there's sooooooo many ways to approach each character, as well as varying playstyles like grappling, zoning, rekka, oki rushdown

I've been playing for a year and the only people who can consistently beat me are like, typically 4 guys on any duel browser and when you reach that level of dueling it isn't even fun anymore

The meta gets so fucked

Everyones looking down, doing fucky morphs, whack ass drags, riposte acceling high stam weapons and ground hitting

Ground hitting makes dueling AWFUL

Weapons like GS become "fast" because they have a release that snaps like a guillotine and if you aim low, even a glaive, one of the only fast weapons that can reach a GS without putting themselves in danger range, can't punish a GS user for missing
