#Melle weapons rework

Melle weapons are in terrible spot right now as why would you use them if you alredy have weapon with who you can bash enemies dealing nearly the same damage, for me melle weapons have 5 major problems

  1. not enough damage not even the questionable heavy attack (right click) doesnt one shot zombie (dont think even on headshot).

  2. not enough range if you are close enough to deal damage they will always trade in which case it doesnt make sense to use it.

  3. bringing 3rd problem not enough knockback or stun mechanic as even if you hit enemy zombie they just stagger close to you and deal damage to you having no way of dodging/parrying that.

  4. cannot run andswing, it may come as a suprise but if you switch from long range weapon to melle you want to have some mobility to dodge or run away from enemies while also have some way of keeping them at bay or dealing damage without dying.

  5. which can solve all these problems, variety all weapons feel same, no damage difference no range difference nothing, should you add 1-4 of my points to all melle weapons, hell no but add one of them to each of the weapons and it will make all weapons interesting and not strong or weak.

this post is made with broken english and badly expalined details so if you dont understand one of my points or think its not good point feedback is apriciated and i shall edit or delete my post based on feedback.

I absolutely agree with these statements.

I’ve only had a few situations where I’ve used melee, and two of them were in the Testing Chamber area.

Getting to melee range is guaranteed to be hit. Not to mention when it comes to zombies they are able to hit you even tho they are facing the opposite direction

the player melee isnt even the issue its just the armored zombies can hit you from out of range other then that you can dodge

all the devs really have to do is fix the armored zombies double range

I can dodge the normal ones no issues but the armored ones will hit me double arm lenth away

Mmm haven't noticed the difference to be honest. At the end of the day melee fights are not fun to do at the moment. I hope they can implement bashing so at least you have a fighting chance.

wdym you can still kill a bunch of zombie solo with melee

7 zombies or less you can solo that melee with 0-1 hits

I have 0 issues with player melee if devs just fixed the range zombies can hit from it should be good

There is no need to use a melee with the amount of ammo gives but again you have to consider that most people are newbies who play this game so they give a lot of ammo

And also a gun's going to be better 99/100 times be better in every scenario

So most pistols and smgs take more than one shot compared to last patch
