Dismembering legs

Using high caliber weapons such the 50.cal sniper or the shotgun cause to dismember enemies legs. Different enemies can have different behaviour after shooting their leg off:

• Zombies: Slows them down but they will crawl towards you.
• D-class: Will make agonizing screams and die bleeding out.
• MTF Soldiers or Security guards: After losing a leg they will simply equip a pistol and try to shoot you. Making no screams for lore reasons.

The screaming Part doesn’t really work with the Guards (they are also cured if I remember correctly), but it would certainly be a nice addition for the D-Class

Leg dismemberment would be Interesting on 098, seeing as they have 8 legs.

I actually don't mind this suggestion, it would only make sense haha. But yes Security are cured, MTF Units are not yet in the game so that's redundant, would be the same though.

The guards should also be like the zombies almost, they should try to crawl away and try to shoot you, D-Class should be like it is in TLOU2. They fall and scream and then die.
I hope they will add this to the game, it is a horror so this would fit it.

I do want to see dismemberment mechanics added, as well as limbless entities/NPC's but i feel this is something that will be looked at after 1.0

I thought 1.0 was when the game became “finished” aside from bug fixes and DLC

1.0 is just the patch number most devs give a build thats foundation has been completed. The framework and all that fun stuff. After that they can have more free time for things that are good for implementation but didnt have time for before 1.0. At least thats my take on most "1.0" releases.

1.0 is the version number when the game is fully released/finished typically

which is what it is for 5k

Typically base game features like that wouldn't be added after 1.0

Especially considering the game is going to get dlc

The only specific thing I remember is that they specifically mentioned the legs when talking about how the dummies can still attack you if you take their limbs off

Which sounds to me like they were planning to do something with that
