I think this game could use an more dynamic environment that responds to stuff like explosions, it doesn’t have to be an destruction system like battlefield. But if let’s say a grenade explodes near a car, the car then bumps. Also with gore effects for that, maybe have a bit more unique gore effects if a character gets blown up by a grenade, if that isn’t possible, then atleast dismemberment could be added. And the ability to swim should also be added, if thinking of chapter 3

I dont think swimming is reasonable with full tactical gear and multiple guns and other weaponry

After our first video testing the plate carrier quick release system in the water, we received a bunch of comments that we feel we have to address.
So can you swim with tactical gear? Yes, swimming with some tactical gear is possible under certain conditions. Swimming with full loadout is not.

-a helmet + nvg's
-a rifle and a pistol
-magazines and ammunition

They added sounds when walking in water, and I think the game just sucks if you fall through it like nothing. It cannot be to much to ask to just add a drowning sequence when falling in it.
But why? We’ve seen from games like Helldivers that players really don’t like drowning. Especially in high paced games where you don’t see your surroundings clearly, drowning often feels like a cheap death.
And as for the chapter 3 sequence, I kinda see your point, but its kinda pointless considering its like the only water deep enough to drown in and with the height you’re falling from, an instant death is more realistic.
I would really love to see some environmental destruction, but don't expect it anytime soon. The layers you have to build for that type of world is intensive, let alone having all of it render. It's a hell of a lot of work to end up ultimately with just a cosmetic effect. Having the cars as destructibles would be the nice midpoint because you wouldn't have to replace entire maps. In the future i'm sure it's feasible but i do not think it will happen anytime soon.
