just brainstorming shit to give the developers at least 1 useful idea for future updates
id like the dboys to have "special units" to mix up the gameplay a little and give them more of a unique feeling during encounters
in my own mind they would have special AI to act different in tactical ways fitting their own method of fighting
(think of tarkov, different enemies have different types of ai ranging from more aggressive and reckless to careful and sneaky)
A. metalworker
a shield unit with armor that can absorb lower caliber damage, sniper rifles or higher rounds could definitely penetrate it
this guy would try to use cover to get close to you and use melee on you
there could be a variant with a handgun instead
B. construction engineer
a unit armed with pipebombs and a shotgun, would lob things at you that explode, and try to be a lot less aggressive preferring to hide until you get really close to him
pretty straightforward
C. cleanup crew
guy with a modified welding tool that works as a flamethrower
cant hit anything too far away from him, but would be terrifying in CQC
give him a little "click click click" sound to give away the flamethrower, it would have a multi second windup before being able to fire it in bursts
im thinking they should spawn where there's a lot of anomalies present
