It's impossible to play with 200 ping, especially if you're starting to play the game. It's a shame to pay almost 40dls for the game, and also you have to pay for the ps plus to play it online, and you don't even get a server in one of the biggest regions of the planet.

I've found a reasonably big fps booster, at least for myself. So I want to share it at least, even you dont have issues atm, I'd suggest at least to give a try.

   0. Exit the game.

   1. Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64

   2. Right click to properties on "TslGame.exe"

   3. Navigate to the Compatibility tab -> check the "override high DPI scaling behavior" box, and hit "OK". (Application from drop-down menu)

Your GPU is a fair bit behind the recommended specs. How much RAM do you have?

Vikendi is a more graphically intensive map than the others, so that is likely the reason you are experiencing lower FPS on that one in particular.

other thing i am frustrated is that programs work best in administrator mode ...when i drop properties menu and check run as administrator for all users ....lets say steam, ...its ok then i run the game in admin rights and it loads and just stuck there on loading screen before the start buton and its like a grayed out window its i saw this thing happen to other games when its not in administrator rights when steam is ...so i checked again is steam in administrator mode and it is ...but the game cant load in administrator ....

When I reviewed the logs today, in each instance players from pakistan had pings that were lower to SEA than EU. In the times when the ping to SEA was higher than normal, the ping to ALL servers was increased proportionally.

If your ping to the SEA region is fluctuating substantially then that suggests there is an ISP level issue that may be causing it

Thanks for your time. Actually i have my Own Discord server of almost 2k players and i never heard from them that they get lowest ping in SEA server then in EU. Sorry that i am not bothering your log data but if you give us a chance to prepare a voting system or may be a petition for EU server. Then You will see how much and how many People need EU server then SEA server. In addition only little people South side of Pakistan got lowest ping in SEA servers, in contrast Almost 90 people face this ping issue with almost 250 in this server.

Players are placed in the region where their ping is best. In your case that is SEA

yeah. I search for almost every server in SEA and there are some SEA server in which we get 100 ping and seriously i am amazed to see it .. but there is a problem? We are connected to this SEA server for ONCE IN A BLUE MOON ... but there are some more SEA server in which we see a ping Hill rise with 250 and we are connected to this server everytime . So, maybe this is the case according to your log data. Furthermore, if we didnot get into this lowest server with 100 ping then We wish to atleast connect to EU with 140 then to SEA with 250.

As I said before, this is likely an ISP level issue that is outside of our control. If your pings are elevated on SEA, then they are most likely elevated towards the EU region too - which is exactly what we saw when we looked into things for other players

What this means is that if you had connected to EU in those instances instead, then your ping would have been even higher

Again, as I said before, You will be connected to the region that has the best ping for you.

You are right that maybe our ISP routing can be on wrong side. But let me clear it also... First of all, when we conncted to elevated high ping server of SEA at 250 but after some moment when we get into EU region accidently we got the same ping which mean our ISP maybe say Negative to SEA server and POSITIVE to EU server. Secondly, I never see any elevated PING in EU server. So its clear that our ISP provide us Clear internet without any flactuating. because the ping in EU server are remain constant.

Sorry, I can't comment on how ISP's in your area do things. That is perhaps a conversation you should have with them.

Most likely getting placed on the EU server in those instances is a result of the SEA ping being elevated due to network related reasons which meant in that scenario the EU server was the better choice.

Another Example is once I tried to connect Two PC's on my Same ISP ... once was connected to SEA and other was connected to EU region using third Party software and I find the same thing .. that i got 250 in SEA on one system .,.. where on the other hand I see 140 ping in EU ... which mean its again the Servers issue to be fixed. That maybe please if you Locked us on EU region we will never have any complaint regarding Ping.

As I said before, the times where you were placed on EU instead was most likely as a result of the SEA region having an abnormally high ping

But that is not a consistent thing.

Illustrative example: If the ping to SEA is 150ms, the ping to EU was 180ms. If the ping to SEA was 240ms, the ping to EU was 300ms

(not actual numbers, but it explains what we saw)

This is why we believe it is an ISP or regional networking related issue as the pings to ALL regions were elevated. So in the times you have a 250ms ping to SEA, every other region was much higher

SSD's don't typically increase FPS, but will speed up loading of data into your RAM

Lobby load times will decrease and any asset loading that needs to happen while playing will also happen faster when using an SSD over a standard magnetic HDD

When we organize large lan parties in PUBG and play on custom servers we experience this freeze for approx. 40% of players IN THE SPACE OF FEW SECONDS! Usually it's 10-15 minutes in game when there is top 20 players left. Has anyone dealt with a crash resulting in not being able to restart the game. Steam thinks its still running and you attempt to launch and you get an error saying app is running. I have killed tslgame and batteleye in task manager. I've restarted steam and restarted PC and I cannot restart the game. I attempted to verify game files in steam, this did start the game, but I got error prior to lobby that steam could not initiailize. The only thing that worked was uninstall and reinstall, but then another crash put me back into same error state. Thoughts? I feel like there is a file sticking around after crash that is keeping me in this bad state.

Try uninstalling from steam
checking under the steamapps common folder for leftover files from the game
there's a way to remove cloud saves from steam, that may be why you're experiencing the left over settings being retained, I just can't remember how to do that atm

In the event you are redirected to EU, it is usually a case of the ping to SEA being unusually high at that moment and the ping to EU was lower.
