Hi!, yesterday i tried to play some pubg, i played two games and went to bootcamp on both. the reason that i only played two games is that on the second one i got a bsod (blue screen of death) with the code MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. now the thing is that this is not the first time this has happened, in fact its a very common occurrance when going to higher populated areas, and sometimes it even happens when there's noone nearby that i know of. i wonder if its a RAM or an HDD problem because i recently reinstalled my computer and before that when booting the system it ran the chkdsk for whatever reason. i havent gotten this since the reinstallation but i wonder if this is still the problem.
specs:
CPU: intel core i5 2400
GPU: GIGABYTE geforce GTX1050 2gb vram
RAM: 8 GBs of ddr3 1333 mhz memory
HDD: a 500gb hdd with 2 partitions (108 gbs and 356gbs)
(sorry for the bulk message but i dont exactly know what information is necesarry for troubleshooting and what isnt)

Well my problem is with my audio @tough harbor the problem is when I happen to join my friends lobby and/or when I join his discord call, the game sound goes from beautiful to noticeably different. It sounds sort of static and choppy and it is becoming very annoying

@celest panther I posted this before but have not been on recently: " Since the vikendi update, every time I attempt to run PUBG from steam, I get a BSOD. I can run all other games as I had before on the same settings (blackops 4: medium-high, ESO: medium-high, ROE: medium-high, fallout 76: medium-high) so my initial thoughts are the error is related to PUBG. Whenever I tab out on fullscreen bordered mode (haven't tested other modes yet) it forces my screen into 1600x900. If I try to change it in windows settings, it'll allow the change until I click anywhere, even on my other monitors, then switch back. I've tried this with other games to no affect. Another thing is it persists when PuBG is no longer running
The effect only goes away upon rebooting.

Not looking to shit on PuBG, I just want to get this bug known to the devs

I found a bug with the new default firing mode feature. Can anyone try and reproduce this?

Set AR default firing mode to Auto
Go to training grounds
Pick up an AR (This swithces to auto as it should)
Drag a second AR into the second weapon slot
Swap the newly picked up AR to the first slot
Now equip the new AR. It is now in single fire mode.

@celest panther I have plantronics rig500hd, I had no problem detecting the enemy positions until the sound patch that came around vikendi, still have no issues in every other FPS i play (overwatch,Cod,csgo,bfv,r6, etc..) My friends have HyperX Cloud Alpha and before that patch they were clueless where the enemy was. The patch improved their footstep noises and almost removed mine. I cant even hear the enemy that is in the same building anymore and its driving me crazy.

It's usually a combination of only having 8GB ram and a slow HDD. Sometimes upgrading to 16GB helps, sometimes you need a faster HDD.

yeah, if you have enough ram, the game should cache the map in the ram so if you play the same map again, it will load fast even with HDD 😄

any help with ban appeal? i have contacted support but they've gone silent now. They are citing "external programs ... (even if it is used for non-cheating reasons)." which leads me to believe it's due to me having Hyper-V (Windows virtualization) enabled, and Docker installed, as i read that vmware & virtualbox can warrant a ban, and hyper-v/docker is essentially same thing. I have a software consultancy, so I need those apps to do my job, but i can work a solution for that if that is the cause. Happy to jump into a chat or anything to talk this through 😊

It's a localised issue which is only visible on your end. On others screens the shadows are displaying correctly, but on yours they aren't. To solve it, you can try changing Shadow quality from the setting you have currently to up a level, applying, then going back to the one before :)

Yup. Seems to happen when the shadows don't load in for some reason. Regardless, is a known issue and can be solved just by changing shadow quality.
