don't just buy the first ssd that gets recommended to you

mostly consider if you are going to buy a MLC or a TLC and does the SSD have any cache, like the SanDisk SSD i bought has 20gb of SLC cache
i think 840 evo is a MLC ssd but i don't thnik its even the best MLC SSD you can buy atm

Or just wait. The point isn't to rename it, but to wait a bit. Since the error usually just lasts a couple of minutes if the servers are working fine.,
It might work in 10 minutes, it might work in 20. But it will work again after some time.

Servers problems/stability usually means reshade errors. You also often get it right after patches.
But again, just have to wait. Has always been like this. After a while you see the pattern 😃

Hadn't played the game for over a week to login today and find out game runs like shit mid match? Played 3 games, every time I start out with no lag and higher frames than usual (people often complain about beginning of the game lag) and frames drop around the first red zone and stay low (down to 30 from 80) except it feels like 10 - 15 fps when moving the mouse around.
Anyone else? Any suggestions? Tried changing all the settings and window mode. Running on a 3440 x 1440, 980 Ti, 32Gb RAM, i7-6700K 4Ghz, win10.

ahh, there was a big issue lastnight with East coast USA comcast customers. The ISP went down... Have them try restarting modem/comp, flushing DNS, changing DNS, disabling steam overlay and finally a mobile hot spot @flint vigil

I have had this problem with only PUBG where randomly when playing my PC restarts itself, it only happens with PUBG. It has only been an issue withing the last week or so. The Error I get is Kernel Power id 41, which is a Power Issue. I just dont understand how it only happens with this game. I also played the entirety of yesterday with no issues but today it restarted on the first game of the day.

If you arent running it on an ssd then the game will run slower, 8gb or ram is probably enough to get 70 fps upwards. Make sure that your cpu and graphics cards are not overheating and causing a bottle neck. If you do have shadowplay then try disabling the recording and highlight features. That's a well known bug introduced with the recent patch. It just defaults your region to AS. No fix, but they're looking into it.

There have been a lot of fps issues being reported since the patch and the team will be looking into it. (Currently it is the weekend and they are not in the office) I think if you are getting 45-65 that isn't too bad tbh since the game is still in EA and being optimized and tested.

We are running into an issue in our community about offensive names.
What is it about?
We have people joining and we are encouraging them to use their nick-name of PUBG. But for instance we have people joining that are using the N-word in their name for instance. Also we have seen a lot of sexual parts coming through.
Is this allowed through the rules of conduct of PUBG or will there follow sanctions? Do you guys allow 'penis', 'vagina' and sorts or is this prohibit?
We would love to get some clarification about this.

At this time, there is no option to change ingame names, and they aren't restricted. However they are planning a system that will allow us to change ingame names, and possibly allow users to change their names. But there isn't a timeline on that.
