Yeah man all you can really do is try a few things and see what happens. Reinstalling the game is quick and easy if you have decent bandwidth from your isp. Turning anti virus off for a game probably isn't going to kill the system to see if it helps.

hello guys, I have a technical issue
every game when the timer of blue zone is about 2:00-2:50, my game freeze about 5 seconds, and then come back and shows network lag detected for miliseconds, eeeeevery game, I don't know what to do, so many times I die because of this.
My setup is:
Intel Core i7 4770k no OC
Gigabyte Arous GTX 1080
8GB Gskill 1600Mhz Ram
Crucial MMX300 SSD 250GB (the game is installed here)
I try some things:
- I verified integrity files
- I delete all config files and start the game and changes my settings in game again
I change almost every settings, fullscreen only, fullscreen windowed...
My settings in-game are all very low, AA high, Textures High
and this issue is only on this game
my OS is Windows 10 Pro 64 bits
my girlfriend has the same setup but with an Intel Core i7 4690K and she has no issues, this is pissing me off

Sounds like awareness issues
First of all make sure your resolution is at the highest you can play at and have your render scale at 100 minimum
Then make sure you have your headphones set to stereo and not any surround stuff
And once that's set, focus on the gameplay aspects, I might be able to give some more specific tips if you have example situations

Virtual surround probably wont work in PUBG and might mess with your sound, hence I mentioned it
Having plain stereo makes shots easier to hear, although they might still bug out and come from the wrong direction like once every few dozen times because of plain game problems
If you play TPP and feel you get shot a lot without being able to know where it's from, sometimes it's about awareness issues and sometimes about positioning

Another point of contention, sometimes it's the best to go hold a good position at the center of the circle instead of risking getting a bad close and having to push through everyone who did that
Mainly it's about only ever being open to as few as possible directions at once (such as holding a cliff behind a bunch of rocks with a natural incline covering your other side) and not picking fights that you don't know you can surely finish without ending up in a bad position
Sticking to the edge of the blue can give you that security in that you usually won't get pushed from outside the blue in the mid to late game
But usually it's better to find a solid position that offers that option rather than praying to the RNGods to be on your side
Late-game it's effective to circle the playzone, rotating along the edges to the slow side so you have ample time to make any moves you wish to, and you can catch some nice flanks on people
But I'd assume if you die in the mid game, that's not the relevant bit but rather the "how not to die to pickoffs by people holding positions in large circles"

Usually it's good to try and move along inclines so that even if they see part of you, you could either get down on your current side or cross the ridge and sink on the other side
This only requires you to hear whether the shot comes from your left or right
It's also good to move along areas with many trees when having to move up hills, because it's extremely easy to spot a person going up a hill if the distance is great enough that grass doesn't render
In these cases the leaves will mostly break sightlines to far-off potential shooters

Standing on top of any high ground is a firefight advantage but highlighting your model against the clear sky is a surefire way to get spotted from miles away
High ground is usually most effective used like a natural wall you can ascend and descend to peek and cover
Also in 3PP fuck running past buildings on open fields
In FPP it's a bit less bad as you can look around, but in 3PP you literally can not counter windowpeekers in buildings
So avoiding those situations entirely is best
If you have to run past a house on a field (A great example is that one red fuckhouse next to Pochinki under the crest) it's better to run past so close they cannot shoot you from the windows and have to jumpshot with a shotgun or push outside

I like dropping into towns with a lot of open roofs and road crossings like Rozhok, Lipovka and Severny, because they let me have a lot of potential loot and I usually win the early gunfights by using the height advantages and open areas to have mid-range fights winnable without optics but not so close you get shotgun memed

Rozhok is also very center and near school and apartments which means there's a lot of early-but-not-quite-start of game traffic for potential picks for gear
If you're good at shooting, drop in one of those kinds of towns if they're nearby. If you're bad at shooting, drop somewhere further off the grid but try to memorize places with plenty of vehicle spawns
For example one of my favorite spots is the small observatory building next to the swamp west of gatka

There's a few loot spawns on the roof only accessible after landing straight on top since the stairs are cut off
And there's usually a few guns and at least one piece of armor in the building alone, not to mention the swamp with its various yellow craphouses
And right north of the swamp the road does a little hook where there's a lot of road condensed into a tight area which means it's relatively common to spot a vehicle spawn along that curve from on top of the observatory hill

Also; Many people will say the best way to learn to shoot is to land in the hotzones like Milbase or School just for the early shootout
I would love to agree but can't, because early game often lags and is very heavy on quick looting and RNG being on your side, so oftentimes you will have a subpar experience
It's better to land slightly away from the hotzones and push into the hotzones after 20-30 people die off and the server performance catches up a bit

I have my Windows task bar at the top of my screen. This causes all UI elements to register my mouse position slightly above where my mouse is actually positioned, including in the inventory or when putting my marker on a map. I've had the same issue with Squad.

Anyone else have issues with screen scale when running a 2560x1600 display? every time I load the game I have to drop my screen scale to 99 then to 100 otherwise my graphics are super pixellated.

They forced Shadows and Post Processing by the looks of it. I've gone from 60fps stable to around 30fps.

He said he had the issue before the update, I have no idea. I just remember seeing videos on people having issues with games and something to do with Windows 10 this week.
I haven't done the most recent updates for Win10 yet, might stay away from em till I know they won't fuck up games.

I played at 4k 65-75fps and now I'm back down at 33 - 40 fps.
I can play the game at 1080p at like 155ish fps though so eh.
And the AA isn't that bad in this game.
