Yommi, that usually happens when you're tabbed out of the game during loading the lobby and stay tabbed out till everyone's aboard the plane. The game cannot load into that state from the get go. A thing that MUST BE FIXED. It's ridiculous that the game doesn't function with multitasking properly. It's embarassing if that makes it to the no longer early access stage. However for now you just have to be carefull...

hello, im currently having extreme performance issues and i dont know what the problem is
I can enter a game with solid 80 fps but if i open my inventory, the game goes down to 20-35 fps and its completely unplayable, this is not the inventory lag thing that used to be a thing, this can go on for about 2-5 minutes. So i can't really play anymore, Anyone here have had the same problem?

Check your card settings and make sure its at max performance for pubg. Also make sure none of your CPU cores are parked. Swap Pubg over to an SSD if you have one.

@stuck badge if your stuck the game has what i find an unstuck feature, if your stuck and you exit the game via task manager so you have to go into task manager and click end task on the game and then quickly come back into "you play with automaticly wiggle out of said spot and back into where you should be" I use this to get to places where the game dev have made it impossible to reach loot spots, like oh theirs two scar-L on the roof with 120 ammo for them, i get stuck on purpose and task manager it up their then drag the guns to edge so they drop off the edge to friends.
*Yes their are spots in the map where guns spawn that are impossible to reach, so i made an idea to get them possible

it works great for me as well, but i do alot of multitasking, and my pc locks up occasionally. its the last thing that i can think of that causes my issues, everything in my system is the same except my processor from when i had my i5 6500 and i never had these issues, drop down to an i3 6100 and boom issues. its tolerable, but when i am doing certain stuff with time limits and going through multiple programs, i cant have my pc locking up like it does

@sharp tapir BattleEye is detecting a system process that is hiding a process(es). Might be anti-virus or other software. This trips BattleEye because it thinks you might be trying to circumvent it and run hidden software (hacks).

Can someone please give me the necessary pak tweaks to have high resolution alpha channel textures for the trees but low res textures for everythign else?
It's ridiculous. On Ultra you can see through trees better but the contrast of terrain textures makes it harder to spot enemies than on low.
vice versa you cannot see through trees with low texture settings.
Worst of all. PUBG developers never even heard of what a LOD System is supposed to be implemented like. pop-in of different models suddenly obscuring sth. within your view is sheer lunacy.
I would send them to an IDtech Dev camp and see why the hell those folks never even heard of the technique behind it.
It seems a whole generation of knowledge is just lost on them.
If this game comes out of early access and different graphics options actually make a difference in gameplay I will advocate loudly agains this game. I have given this feedback extensively. I hope they will be forced to resolve these issues once they try to make it a true tournament game.
