when you get a second, jump into a game and get a sniper (if possible), get away from everyone and test quick scoping while holding breathe vs not holding breathe. You will see what I mean.

Great, I will check it out. The Team is the real MVP's. I mod and gather data to send over to them. They make the magic happen! (It helps that myself and others gather while they sleep. More efficient cycle)... In respect to servers, it is a very well conversed issue. Everyone is aware and are working towards a solution in house and out. I don't have an ETA, all I can say is hang tight!

Hello! Hopefully this is the best place to bring it up, but is there an option to opt out of rainy matches, and if not, can one be added? So far, every game that I've gone into that has rain ends up crashing within minutes because the rain adds so much more strain to my already weak PC. I'd leave during the lobby if I could, but it ends up taking so long on the loading screen that by the time I can exit out, I'm already in the plane. Non-rainy matches run mostly fine, a lot of stuttering for the first minute or so and I understand that the game's in alpha and isn't fully optimized yet for a computer as bad as mine, but after a while the game runs smoothly. I do enjoy the atmosphere the rain adds, and I look forward to the game's full release when it might run more smoothly and I can actually enjoy it in game, but for now, I'd really prefer to not crash every few games due to the rain.

It has to do something with the ping in my opinion.. as i had no issues on eu and loads on NA..and when i played a squad ..2 eu 2 na guys.. no one had issues except 1 na gux with the occasional fps drop in close gun fights

@mortal sun When you are stunned and your screen turns white and you get a high pitched sound, you are an easy target. Can't defend yourself for a few seconds, which is the idea for the Stun grenades. Or are you saying you died instantly from it?
If so, was your health low enough that the explosion could kill you?

Hello, if anybody is here. I've just had the third game crash today. For some reason it says I've run out of video memory as soon as the game started. My hardware monitor showed a 99 percent video memory load.
My system is an overclocked 6600k with 16gb DDR4 and an OC'd 970. I have not modified my setup whatsoever since the last stable game. Any tips for what I should do to resolve this issue?

Well, you are right on the edge with the memory requirements. All of the reports I have seen, and people I've talked to have had a lot of crashes similar to yours with under 16gb ram. Earlier versions of PUBG required 16gb. Some optimisation brought it down to 8gb as the min.

Honestly the 960M isn't really going to be able to let you play like you want and is most likely the issue your having guaranteed.
Take a look at your card and the minimum required card for PUBG
You could try lowering all of your game settings.

yeah no for now i have discord ts and obs boosted but it takes away from the quality because with more gain comes more background noise , for example if i record in obs and need to add a 10-15 db gain the video has a big amount of white noise because pubg is putting my gpu fan to 100% on auto 😄

Hello all, just a general question. Considering picking this game up, but want to make sure that I can play solo. I do understand it is last man standing. I also understand that there are game modes for both single player and squads. I guess my question is, in the single player mode, are there still people that work together for an advantage? If so, is it so overwhelming for a solo player that it negatively impacts the experience?

@steel lion hi, that is not possible unfortunately. You may change the appearence of your character with 3000 blood coins and the statistics will be reset on may the 31st. So it would basically be as good as fresh start for you!

Hello! Since the latest patch last wednsday I'm crashing 2-3 minutes after landing. Never crashed before and I was running High/ultra( AA, Post, Textures, View dist.) with 50-60 fps. After the patch my avg FPS greatly improved but now the game crashes. The game freezes and CPU-usage go to 0, but background sounds continue, it's in this state for a couple of minutes before closing itself and crash-report pops up.
I've reinstalled, validated game files and removed any config files/Launch options I had, and removed OC's on my GPU/CPU.
Is there anything else I can do on my end to troubleshoot?

Does anyone use the launch option "-sm4" for directx 10? The game for me runs consistently, without any stuttering or freezing in Directx 11 (without the -sm4 launch option), but at about 30fps. With Directx10 it runs at about 70 fps, but freezing happens occasionally. How do I stop this freezing? I think it may be something I could tweak in the WindowsNoEditor folder...

hey guys. my pubg usually goes with 25-50fps. my game freezes for ~1 sec quite often, and after im in the game for a while, like when the zone is really small and there's people nearby me I have 5-20fps, and my game freezes for 1-4seconds usually then... what the hell? what's making my game go so slow? my comps are i7 3770, gtx 980ti, 16gb ram

Hi guys, dunno if this should be here or in offtopic, but if someone have a flashing cmd that makes your game lost focus (get minimized) on pcmasterrace subrredit they have found the guilty, it's caused by office, and you can fix it like this: Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Office > Right click "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration" > Disable

I did channge the .ini files many times and ended deleting them(restoring the normal ones) because nothing helped. my in-game video settings don't really matter, as I have the same fps issues in all video settings- be it everything low- everything high, or texture high and rest low. my internet speed is 16mbps, I download with 1,6mb/s. does the internet speed test matter in some way?

Meh, it could be, but....defrag your drive, try DDU in safe mode, unplug your network cable on reboot and have the new drivers dowbloaded to your desktop, then install them and reboot. Unplugging internet keeps windows from auto jamming drivers on your system at start
Could also run memtest86 on a flash drive to rule out a faulty stick of ram
PUBG might use different memory allocations then others so you might not see it with them
Just things to try. Heading back to work from lunch break. Best of luck. Defrag that drive though

Could always run a test on hdd most popular manufacturers have software suites that let you test for bad sectors etc and low level format your drive

PUBG could be on a faulty sector of the drive etc

@digital glen I dont know man, I dont have a great rig by any means, but a 4430 and 270 should be able to run a game on very low, without it crashing every single time. Seeing the performance people get even on better builds, it seems the opposite of pretty damn good.

@digital glen took a long time to fix the hdd accordingly to the seagate's tool. I disfragmented once again.. all I need to do now is to use the tool to uninstall drivers in safemode nad install them... but im tired today x_x

"Find sector errors" isnt an option. Havent seen their tool I, awhile as I use Western Digital drives, but should have a scan hard drive for errors type of option.

I like win 10. If its the content creators version, turn off game mode. Seems to help with pubg issues. Also might want to turn off mouse acceleration in settings. Feels wonky for a lot of people. Personal preference though.
@viral monolith one more thing, you can use msi afterburner to lower 'underclock' your gpu core and memory. Some have underclocked both -100 and have had great results. Particularly if the 970 is a super clocked version from factory. Just a workaround.

You can setup a recording software e.g. shadowplay/relive/plays. tv to record yor last few minutes in the came when you press the hotkey
That way you will be kitted out and ready to capture the bugs !

My friend and I have started duoing since the server wipe and have noticed that crashes in the spawn island are documented as a game played, where as if you exit to lobby from the spawn island before the match starts it does not register as a game played. On my leaderboard it shows i have 5 games played 1 win, where my friend has 3 games played 1 win. This has caused our rating to be vastly different despite playing in the same amount of games. So i believe that crashing in the spawn island is negatively impacting peoples overall rating within the game, while they cannot control the crashes. If this message could please be relayed to someone who has the ability to take a look at this possible issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

some music players like VLC have an option to set global hotkeys
you could use that to pause the music

My character isn't centered, in this cas he's on the left of the screen, thus makes me able to see thru walls on my right if i'm close enough to them, already happened another time when i would only see the head of my character and i could see thru walls in front of me. Thing is it's VERY annoying and i didn't find any fix yet, seems to be related to Free Look during parachute

ok i love this game but last patch has killed it for me the desync is unreal game freezing a cpl times for like 4 sec on plane at start & when Parachuting & loot lagg slows game down. go to open a houes door and it throws you thro the door like a lil telaport. and you dont even see the door open just flings you in. and the hit reg lag is getting beond a joke! each new patch has not gone well from the word go. i get it its early acsses game. !but come on! somthing need^s to be done about the desync in the game its a game killer for me but thats just me. not sure about every one els😢

@tawny jacinth Has started happening to me as well. Definitely free looking triggers it. Only way I've found to fix it is exiting the match, and joining another.

If I go on fullscreen my taskbar goes invisible and then turn it back to fullscreen (windowed) the taskbar is visible again
