The game restarted his computer?
Or do you mean it froze so he had to restart?
Because if the game "made" his computer restart there are a few reasons for this.
- CPU is overheating and the PC shutdown to prevent damage
- He doesn't have a big enough power supply and when the usage is high it is causing voltage drops to key areas and crashing.

I havent in a LONG TIME...just set my 2nd monitor back up, and for the life of me cant remember how to get it so I can just show discord and task monitor on the 2nd one....right now they are extended and if I open discord, on the 2nd it shows it only on my main monitor

Hey there! I'm sorry to ask about this here but I'm yet to find a fix for this:
I've been trying to connect to the game since the first BETA, and I'm still getting the same error. I get the "reconnect" button all the time, and there's no refreshing/reconnecting/restarting the game that'll fix it.
I've also checked if it's whitelisted on the firewall and everything else, and still no go. Any tips?

Might be a longshot, but you could try verifying system files for Windows. Just to make sure you don't have a corupt set of files .dll especially that could cause issue. You know how to open an elevated command prompt in Windows

I'm not sure. There is an option to change your characters appearance for 3000 BP but that might just be gender etc...In the Alpha I chose a name, and it reset for the beta, so maybe EA will let you do it again? Just guessing

I'm 99% certain it's his intergrated gfx, but he's poor and I don't want to tell him to buy a GPU if others have been able to run it)

Hi guys, when I'm playing PUBG I only manage to get a frame rate between 30-50 depending on the buildings that need to be rendered. I have a GTX 970, CPU: Amd FX 8350, 1080p
Problem is, when I monitor my hardware resources my CPU only would go up to 50-60% when playing battlegrounds and this is the same for my graphics card. I feel like my PC is underperforming in this game specifically, is there anything I can do? I know the game needs more optimisation, but is there anything I can do to get more knowledge on why this happends? Thanks.

Shadowplay works fine for me, always did with this game.
altough the fps counter and what not doesn't work

just make sure you have enabled desktop recording with it

Seems US solo is having issues atm. Try EU solos or go for duos/squads
