After you reboot but before launching PUBG, can you go into Event Viewer and find the list of errors that log the crash? I think that's another place where you would find the stop code that @bronze tinsel is asking about.

This is a bit of a long shot, but I notice sometimes when I'm switched to a different application (like my web browser) and then switch over to PUBG when I hear the countdown lobby noise, my W key will actually move me backward rather than forward. If I ALT+TAB back to the browser and the ALT+TAB back again, the problem goes away.

That kind of random keyboard weirdness sounds maybe similar to what you're seeing... so you might try switching windows and then switching back to see if the keybinds start behaving correctly. (Just one possibility to test - again, may be a long shot.)

When I try to spam click with single fire guns the gun doesnt shoot as fast as I'm clicking, it feels like the game cant keep up with such fast clicking and that there is some weird delay between shots.

Yes, I play on a laptop. My current RAM speed is 3200MHz CL22 2x8GB, and I'm looking to upgrade to 2x16GB 3200MHz CL20 RAM. Thermals are not a problem since I have liquid paste and good cooling for it, never exceedes over 85 celsius under heavy workload and I play on external display so I'm using only dedicated gpu which is RX 6800M. Just wondering if I should cash out for ram upgrade or not, will that boost my performance a bit, and eliminate any stutters that I sometimes have

So I have to restart my PUBG almost every time after I started it for the first time, I get stutters constantly otherwise (since the Vikendi Update). Is anyone else experiencing this issue? My CPU is not maxing out when this happens so I am not sure what it is. After I ALT+F4 and restart the game it usually is all fine. Around a year ago now, I tried to install PUBG and activated the wellbia anti-cheat, having heard you couldn't remove it. Turns out, when I did uninstall the game.. that both wouldn't get removed NOR would it shut off. Is the anti-cheat still so suspect?

I mean, most games do the same. A lot of games that use BattleEye install the anti-cheat separate to the game. Even Riot do this with their anti-cheat that's tailor made for just one game... Usually the games have some checks or dependencies to ensure the anti-cheat is running, else the game wont let you play. Wellbia is probably one of the worst anti-cheats out there. I've seen it do more bad than good in terms of game stability and crashes. These complains seem to come and go every other patch. You can uninstall Wellbia separately via file explorer and registry.

Start by uninstalling PUBG in Steam. Right click -> Manage -> Uninstall
Leave Steam open

Open a Run prompt (Win + R) and enter %localappdata%
Delete the folders TslGame, WELLBIA, UNCHEATER
Open the BattlEye folder and delete the pubg file

Open CMD prompt as admin
sc delete ucldr_battlegrounds_gl
Navigate to your (probably C:)\Program Files\Common Files\ and delete the PUBG, UNCHEATER and Wellbia.com folders
Navigate to (probably C:)\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
Navigate to (probably C:)\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG

Going back to Steam, at the top left click Steam -> Settings -> Downloads
Click CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
Restart your computer

I'm maybe missing something, but that should get rid of all PUBG files and anticheats

If you want to uninstall PUBG game ready drivers for Nvidia card then just uninstall your display adapter drivers via Device Manager and restart your machine. Windows will download some basic drivers

However there's not much point to this as these wont affect any other games, and the basic drivers may just be the same as the ones you are already using.... aand you'll only end up updating your gfx drivers in the future which will probably reinstall those game ready drivers

I don't know what's going on, but when I play PUBG, the mouse moves with a huge delay. As in, I move the mouse, and after a noticable delay, the camera moves and it does so very slowly, slower than I moved the mouse. I don't even know what to call this. I've had similar intermittent mouse-stutter/drag issues, but I have also noticed it happening with the desktop and other applications. Not sure about the cause, but I suspect it's an overheating processor issue.

Keep your task manager running at the same time while you play PUBG and see if your RAM is filling up without making space again. Sounds like a RAM or temp issue to me, more likely RAM. That could mean a memory leak of some sort and might require a windows reinstall. But check it with the task manager first. You can check your cpu temperatures with the software "CoreTemp".

Go into your control settings and unbind them.

Not sure why you'd want to disable leaning as it's a very important and useful movement key.

You should definitely rebind rather than disable.

similar issue happened to me for MW2 steam vs battle dot net. The issue there was the config files in documents are shared. I think similar issue is happening for Pubg. if you want to try both may be install game on different user/ account on windows so you can switch user for epic vs steam and keep installation for current user only for steam and epic.

That's not saying you are cheating. (I believe that may be related to a file integrity problem.) The solution that people have tried before for that kind of error is to do a clean install following the pinned troubleshooting steps. (Uninstall, delete all the associated remaining folders/files, and then do a fresh install.)

Have anyone with RTX series (20xx) have had stutters and managed to fix them?
I've done anything from swapping the thermal pads, reinstalling windows, installing game between drives, closing everything but PUBG, all on very low, 32gbram, and still I cant get a smooth gaming experience.
I know streamers and pros have top notch hardware, but I cant believe anyone but them just plays with stutters unless they're rich enough to upgrade.

I had a similar issue. Seems to happen randomly but hasn't happened for a while now. This might work for you. In Steam, right click the game -> properties -> in "Launch options" type "-fullscreen"

I'm not sure for AMD cards but Nvidia cards can modify the game settings before launching, so if you have any app like that be sure to tell it to launch the game in fullscreen

Whilst you are in-game, set the game to fullscreen and save your settings to cloud too. It could be that your old cloud save had borderless and the game is loading this every time you launch

That sentence wasn't entirely grammatical. but I think you're referring to how you can install regular PUBG, or the test server, or the third download. You only need to install the main PUBG game. The test server is only for playing / testing the new updates during the 7-day period before they are released, and the third thing is never used, so you can ignore it.

If you're stuck on the character creation on the main PUBG game or in the test server, then you should report that to PUBG support as a possible bug. If you're stuck on the third install thing (I forget what it's called - the experimental server or whatever it is), then it's probably because it's not being used currently.

The problem looks like it's not displaying your character, which is probably related to the bug where sometimes PUBG doesn't display item thumbnails. Usually restarting the lobby fixes the thumbnail bug and would probably fix the character not displaying too. (It's worth a try.)

I think it's an issue on slower PCs.

in search type "sound settings" > device properties of input > additional device properties > Advance tab > un check "allow applications to take exclusive control of the device". sometimes if application that support mic as input like discord start first and they dont share or take exclusive access then this can cause issue.
Also in pubg settings > audio make sure voice chat channel is not "none" sometimes the Ctrl+T or Crtl + Y options don't toggle cleanly

Before update with coloured smokes i had in smokes like 80-90 fps with CPU ryzen 5 3600 and GPU sapphire nitro+ RX 6700XT after update i had like 30 fps in smokes and now i upgraded my pc to ryzen 7 5800x3D and sapphire nitro+ RX 6700XT and i have 100fps in fights (with 1 smoke atleast) and 120-150fps without enemy around (with 1 smoke), in normal game without fps i have around 250-330fps . Low Audio. Bought a new laptop and installed PUBG. audio was quiet compared to anything else I had tried. Reinstalled windows from a fresh drive and installed drivers, same issue. Other games are not quiet, PUBG is quiet, possibly 50% volume.

I have tried disabling app control and enhancements, (loudness equalization doesn't exist for my embedded sound)

To be clear this issue is with headphones AND speakers. Even with my regular headphones, I'm unable to play the game due to not hearing footsteps. Same headset on the computer next to me does not have this issue.

I have also tried editing the gamesettings ini file to 200% audio, 300% audio, etc, then setting as read only and there is no change in audio level.

Seems like a widespread issue on posts back to 2018, so not sure what the solution is... works fine on one computer, not the other

The game uses whichever mic you have set as default on Windows. Right click the Sound icon on the taskbar and choose "Sounds." In the "Recording" tab, click the headset you want to use and click "Set Default" the OK.

You could also check the levels of the microphone to make sure they're on high. You could also turn off these two options in the "Advanced" tab

And finally you'd want to make sure your voice channel is set to Team/All and your microphone volume is turned up. If you have push to talk enabled then make sure to press the push to talk key when talking...

could also be that a hotfix was pushed and it hasn't reached your steam client yet. you could try changing your download region on steam then restarting to see if it prompts a download.

moving the game to a different disk and back will also prompt an update to check that all files transferred correctly, which might flag any faults

Dunno why you called me a robot lol. I'm just giving you your best options. It's not as if you have a high end system and still having performance issues. PUBG is not super well optimised and your system does not fully meet the minimum requirements. Even if you did, the "minimum specs" on the Steam store do not guarantee consistent 60FPS at medium/ high settings, it's just whatever the devs thought the game would run on at lowest settings upon launch. Those specs haven't been changed over the years as the game was updated further, so update after update those minimum specs will be worse and worse for the current game. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Hello, is anyone having a problem with the sounds in the game? I play with a Corsair Void Elite Surround headset. I am not sure what you mean, you do not need to have steam open in order to launch the game. You can launch from the desktop icon, or pin steam to your taskbar and right click it -> click on your most recent game to launch it without launching the steam client.

In-game, I'm experiencing an issue with the server.

Prior to this, I was on a SEA server where my ping used to be around 40 - 45. However, my server suddenly switched automatically to EU and my ping is 143 - 148. Also, I have tried verifying the flies from Steam, but this did not work.. I have also reinstalled the game after uninstalling it.. I have also cleared the temp files on my laptop.. I am still stuck on the same EU server.. How do I switch back to the SEA server?

The game is forcefully using vsync, even if its disabled, the strange thing is that it's not using vsync whenever i am alt tabbed, i know that because whenever i alt tab back in, for a fraction of a second i can see that the framerate is higher than the one of my monitor's refresh rate and then it goes back to the capped framerate of my monitor's refresh rate.

A temporary workaround seems to be to switch between fullscreen and windowed, but whenever i alt tab out and back in, it locks itself at the monitor's refresh rate again...

In Windows, have you set your default speaker/ microphone to whatever headset you are using?

Right click the audio icon, choose Sounds, then go to the Recording and Playback tabs. Find your headset, right click, set as default

If you are using multiple audio devices and swapping between the two, you can choose "set as default communication device" instead

You can also change these settings by right clicking -> properties on the speaker/ microphone. This will stop any other apps on your computer from taking exclusive control of the device

(basically disable enhancements and dont allow exclusive control). Might need to restart PUBG after that.

Sure, also just to be sure, make sure your settings in PUBG look like this. Main menu -> Esc -> Settings -> Audio -> Voice Chat. If you set a push to talk, make sure you are definitely pressing the right button. Don't put your push to talk on a macro key as those tend not to work for keybinds

In the keybindings you can see how to toggle the channels/ mute the chat (key bindings -> common). Try swapping channels and muting/ unmuting after you load in-game in case your game is pulling settings from a cached file or cloud
