I have installed all of the WAD's and have my internet set to WPA2-PSK and Have installed the required WADS, including the EULA WAD, yet my vWii cannot connect to internet and the EULA does not show up at all, any solutions? I originally tried on my Wifi and now am running the Wiilink 2.0 DNS server on my PC. I have Xfinity Wifi (I know) and have my Wii U/vWii set to America, as an American Wii U. Other Context:
32 GB Wii U
64 GB Sandisk SD
2 TB external USB harddrive for Wii U data, not Wii Data.
Running Vwii data off the SD card.

Your internet is most likely WPA2-PSK-AES. Probably set it in the wii u settings then restart it and open wii mode again, the internet should transfer over

Got this error on my DNS

idk

#

companies make stupid decisions

feral shore
#

they would be the least likely

#

they are getting sued by 5000 different game companies for ignoring piracy

jagged vortex
#

they will now ban anything mentioning video games to prevent piracy

feral shore
#

I would have to split bands, which I cannot

feral shore
#

I got it to work off of my Iphone hotspot

#

the EULA never did appear

#

but I did patch it and got it running

jagged vortex
#

you can get it through NUSGet or ModMii

feral shore
#

thanks for reccomendation

#

luckily Gemini pulled through

#

wait

#

if you install the eula wad

#

you dont need to go into the vWii menu settings

#

?

jagged vortex
#

yes you do

#

not all wads install channels

#

some are invisible titles that have to be directly opened by another program

tribal sedge
jagged vortex
#

did you install the eula wad

tribal sedge
#

Yes

#

I did

#

However

#

When I went to the Wii settings on my vWii

#

I went to WiiConnect 24

#

And there was no EULA option

jagged vortex
#

it should be on the screen before that

cunning ivy
#

you've already agreed to it then and you're done

jagged vortex
#

oh, interesting

tribal sedge
#

I followed all the setting up until it said go to the vWii menu settings

#

And I noticed it had the full settings that a Wii usually has

jagged vortex
#

i was wrong

tribal sedge
#

So

#

It’s done

jagged vortex
#

yes

tribal sedge
#

Hmmm

#

Ok

#

I had one problem

jagged vortex
#

what was it

tribal sedge
#

So I tested the weather channel

#

And it worked

#

As intended

#

Then I went to the Nintendo channel

#

And

#

It stayed as a white screen

jagged vortex
#

oh

tribal sedge
#

Yeh

#

No error code

#

It just stayed a permanent white screen

jagged vortex
#

weird

#

not sure what would cause that

tribal sedge
#

Yeh

#

So

#

Since I’m done

#

As the response said

#

I should be able to play Wii games online no problem right?

jagged vortex
#

wiilink doesn't do this, wiimmfi or wiilink wfc does

#

i'd recommend wiimmfi due to more players

tribal sedge
#

Ohhh ok

#

But when I was looking at the tutorial for WiiLink

#

It said I couldn’t enable a setting in Priiloader

#

That enabled Wimmfi permanently

jagged vortex
#

that's not what it said

#

it said wiiconnect24

#

you can enable the wiimmfi one but NOT the wiiconnect24 one

tribal sedge
#

Ah ok

Pretty much, what happened was that Xfinity in their infinite wisdom made half of the settings the worlds largest pain, quick lesson, the vWii can only connect to the 2.4 ghz band, my WiFi (WiFi 6E) has the 2.4, 5 and 6 ghz bands. 2.4 is your weakest but furthest reaching band, 5 and 6 are newer bands with faster connections (less congestion, more channels) but have a shorter range. Meanwhile 2.4 is a longer range but is the weakest with the least channels that can be interfered with by appliances like microwaves. My router automatically pushed all the bands of the vWii at once, stopping it from connecting the WiFi. Because the vWii was trying to read all these signals at once, confusing it and making it not connect. Pretty much, blame Xfinity
