Hello, I'm trying to get WiiLink to work on my vWii (Wii U). I followed the entire guide but when I try accessing the channels I get the following errors
"News Channel:107305,
Forecast Channel:107305,
Check Mii Out Channel:259900,
Everybody Votes Channel:230500".
I can do connection tests on the vwii and they work, and on my WiiU it shows both the Wii and Wii U logo for my connection. So idk what's going on or what the issue is.

I'm in Argentina so idk if that's an issue or not. Also I'm using the WiiLink DNS addresses. My Console region is set to the US though.

However, some channels seem to be working for me. For example, the Nintendo channel works. Even though I get 269900 Transmission error, the channel still loads and works fine after that. The Kirby TV channel also works fine for me. I also tried opening the photo prints channel and even though I didn't try printing any photos or anything, I didn't get any error
codes when accessing the channel. I also tested the Wii Room channel and the food channel, and those didn't work either (I got error 354002 on the Wii Room Channel).

So yeah also I've been talking to someone else from Argentina who is running to very similar errors as myself, although they are on an actual Wii instead of a vWii as I am. So idk if maybe there's something wrong with Argentina or our internet providers. Or maybe something to do with our time zone? idk I don't think so.

Anyways, its weird because it seems I can connect to the WiiLink servers for some things to work, but on most channels it takes like forever to load until I get those error messages.

If anyone could help it would be GREATLY appreciated 🙂

Here's information about your error:

Class for error 1xxxxx: WC24 error codes.
Section for error 10xyzz: WC24 internal processing error. (x=task type, y=error module).
Group for error 107yzz: Task type »download«.
Error for error 10x305: HTTP access failed (NHTTP).
Note from WiiLink: Try again. If it still doesn't work, it might be a problem with your internet connection.

Hmm, I don't see how this is useful? Yeah maybe its something with my Internet. But, for example, I was able to setup Pretendo and it works perfectly (I don't know if that's a fair comparison or not)

I just tested on Dolphin and im getting the same error codes

Ok yeah I just tested using a VPN with dolphin and yeah it works perfectly, so clearly the issue is our ISP

#

I assume that for some reason our ISP is like taking down the requests since im assuming the Wii uses outdated protocols and stuff

#

So idk if there's much we can do besides using a VPN

OK IT WORKS! I was starting to look into the routing of my ISP to the Wii Link IP and stuff. But now I just tested a traceroute from my pc and it worked out of nowhere! Seems like it was some weird routing issue that has apparently been fixed from my ISP's side (or one of their upstreams) . I was ready to call my ISP and try to explain this shit to them, glad I don't gotta do that LMAO. (hopefully this is fixed for good now)
