I just installed wiilink24 onto my vWii (Wii U) alongside all other priiloader patches, but I keep on receiving an error message stating that wiiconnect24 is not enabled. I'm not really sure what is causing the error, so I have included pictures for all of the channels which I have received the errors in. Strangely, this does not occur in nintendo wfc games, this only shows up for wiiconnect24 channels.

go into vwii system settings and turn on standby
vWii settings sends me straight to data management
turn on permanent vwii system settings but also make sure to turn OFF always enable wc24 on boot
I just tried this. I got the same error message
WFC is different from WC24
I mean in most cases it doesnt require WC24 settings turned on (except for stuff like MK Channel)
U have NOT enabled both right?
only enable "Alwys enable WiiConnect24 on boot"
they haven't they sent a photo
oh yea
sorry
btw. u can enable Wii System settings, it wont fix the problem but is nice
Do you know what else could be causing the problem?
forecast and news channel force u to enable standby in settings, but sb. told me it isn't necessary for wiilink ones
doesn't seem to be true
I remember turning off WiiConnect24 entirely in the settings (normal wii), and cmoc still worked so maybe disable "Always Enable WiiConnect24 on boot"? I am not an expert
- go into priiloader and select system menu hacks
- turn off "Permanent vWii System Settings" and turn on "Always enable WiiConnect24 on boot"
- save settings and launch system menu
- go into priiloader and select system menu hacks again
- turn on "Permanent vWii System Settings" and turn off "Always enable WiiConnect24 on boot"
- save settings and launch system menu
???
First, force-enable WC24 via priiloader. Subsequently, when you make the system settings permanent, WC24 will remain permanently enabled. As these two items cannot be enabled simultaneously, the process requires two separate operations.
This worked for me, but I'm not sure if it'll be effective for him. Sorry if I've confused you.
I dont think he wants do use both
he gets error codes
oh
so u want to enable both, so WC24 is enabled, and he can then go to settings and enable standby?
In my case, enabling WC24 and making that setting persistent worked. The option to always enable WC24 alone did not function properly.
I have just preformed these steps and I am met with the same error. However, when I boot up the check mii out channel, it says that I have not agreed to the EULA which is strange because I installed the EULA wad
did u accept it
have u also tried disabling always enable wc24 on boot?
I did
Though I don't know how you can accept the EULA in vWii
Enabling WC24 using priiloader should eliminate the need to agree to the EULA.
It should, but I don't know why it's not
