(SOLVED) vWii DNS Issues

I have been following wii.hacks.guide for the vWii, and have got to the Wiiconnect24 step, I have followed the Wiilink guide up to setting up the DNS. When trying to do the Agreement/Contact step I don't see the Wiilink logo. I tried using the DNS Server guide through my pi-hole instance, set the vWii settings to point to the local ip address of my pi-hole and I can see the Wii U querying the pi-hole in the logs. But I still don't see the Wiilink logo in the EULA. What can I do to fix this?

I have the following Priiloader hacks enabled:

Block online updates
remove deflicker
wii system settings via options button
create message via calendar button
permanent vwii system settings
fix NWC25iSetUniversalTime (UTC+1)

I have the WiiVCLaunch aroma plugin installed too and set to block the Wii U overwriting the vWii internet settings.

So I ran a system information tool and it said my DNS was still being set automatically, even though the vWii settings said it was set to be manual. I changed my routers configuration to automatically set the DNS setting of devices to point to the pi-hole, and it still doesn't work. I just get the Nintendo EULA from 2007. Any idea what I could do to fix this?

Well I rebooted my router and it seems to have worked!
