[RESOLVED] vWii WiiLink Mail Patcher- did not work? What now

I am attempting to get Wii Link set up for the purposes of receiving WarioWare: DIY Showcase games. I followed the WiilLink guide to a T, and the patchers said it had been successfully run. However, I still don't have the option to create messages or add friends on the Wii message board, and the channels (News, etc) don't seem to be working.

What might have gone wrong? How can I safely set things up to try again?

I should add that the patcher said it successfully added the patch pretty much instantly despite the guide saying to "follow the instructions"... not sure if that means anything.

well, follow it to a Z, because wiilink mail patcher does not deal with the create messages button, that's priiloader's job. wiilink mail patcher patches the mail servers

it also isn't responsible for news, etc working, but priiloader also is

Figured out that that was what a missed- I hadn't configured priiloader properly. I've since gone back and done that, but the message board/news/etc still say "can't connect to wiiconnect 24. Any way for me to backpedal and apply the patch again, if that's the issue?
