sntp Clock keeps resetting my timezone when i change it

So basically when i was trying to Fix the FORECAST000006 error, i went to the wiilink guide to change the timezone clock on it and waited the 30 minutes, only for it to still not work as intended,

So i did another 2 tests and turns out when i try to set my timezone to -5 and saving it, it would revert it back to +00 timezone instead of staying at -5 (EST Time zone) and my wii clock in the regular settings are correct, anyone has a fix to sntp?
