Food channel crashes Wii after address input

The channel seems to work up until after I've entered my address/contact info. After that point it crashes my Wii and the classic long buzz sound starts. Anytime I start the app again it shows me the loading utensils and then instantly crashes again. I've tried deleting the app, its save data, and the region and address wads, then reinstalling them. I've also linked my Wii to my Wii Link account. Nothing seems to fix it. No error code since it freezes on the buzz sound.

how many characters is your address + postal code + city + state?

ok got it working

i put in the full zip code
xxxxx-xxxx instead of just xxxxx
i changed it to the shorter of the two

Hello, I am having the same issue but when I simply open the address settings it crashes. I never even get the chance to enter it before it crashes my wii u.

this has been resolved, please run the patcher again for a new address settings wad and install it

Did the same thing, and it worked for me also.
