Hi! So I've had my wii for a long time now, homebrewed, and recently I started using it again. I made sure to update all the stuff, such as priiloader, the homebrew channel, bootmii, and even the system menu version to 4.3 from 4.1. I followed all the steps in the wii.hacks.guide website, including installing all the cIOS' and everything seems to be working now. However, when trying to boot certain games such as mario kart wii (from wiiflow, from a wbfs/iso file), wii sports, etc. They bring me back to the system menu, but other games such as Wii Sports Resort work just fine. I would really appreciate some help! Here's my SysCheck report in case it can be useful (I hope it doesn't matter but it's in spanish lmao)

yeah your cios is a mess lol
Yeaahh thanks I'll try that LOL
It works now! Thank you so much!
if people have things like hermes ios on some slots, it's needed
otherwise, it saves some storage, but it's not necessary
well you don't have the ios on your console
so you save a very small amount of storage
it's negligible, but there's no reason not to install the stubs imo
if they were unneeded, modmii wouldn't make them
his friend here; his Wii did in fact have Hermes installed
and the stubs definitely helped lol. he forgot to install them as the message says, tried to boot any of those games and still didn't work. installing them immediately fixed it
I am @grizzled sparrow's irl friend lmao
yes that’s why it started working
also yeah, i knew they had hermes bc i read the syscheck
is Hermes some old thing you used to need to install?
haven't read much of it but I saw it in his old homebrew channel before we updated everything
yeah
I see!
someone else
it’s old outdated cios that breaks modern usb loaders
trollege moment
hmm I think so!
interestingly his Wii has a ribbon cable coming out of the USB port at the back, figured it was because of some modchip installation? his Wii is a CPU-01
yep! all is working perfectly now
now that’s interesting
pull it
it's a lil cute tail
and these were the old apps I used to have on the homebrew channel
