#Wii Network EULA does not show the WiiLink logo.

Hello,

I apologize if this question has been asked to death, but I’ve been trying to connect to the WiiLink24 DNS server on my Wii. I connected to the internet successfully with a 2.4g hotspot on my PC, so I don’t see anything wrong with that.

However, upon trying to connect the official RiiConnect/WiiLink DNS server on the Wii, even though it has successfully connected to the internet with those credentials, upon reading the EULA agreements, I didn’t find any mentions of a WiiLink logo on at all.

I assumed since the guide said that if you don’t see the logo, the DNS server will not work on the device, I would want to use the RiiConnect DNS tool on my computer. So I did, I put in the new DNS credentials, but I still do not see a WiiLink, let alone a RiiConnect logo on the EULA.

I assume I’m doing it wrong. Is this something on my end? I’m using an NA Wii U running vWii. I apologize again for the lengthy post.

167.235.229.36 should be your primary DNS.
1.1.1.1 should be your secondary DNS.

If its correct, then just know iirc the dns is only for mkwii

That’s good to know. I read the guide and it told me it had to show the logo.

Probably just poor wording

Maybe. I just read:
If you do not see the WiiLink logo on the EULA, the DNS will not work on your network.

assuming that the DNS wasn’t going to work at all.

well yeah, if you don't see the wiilink eula, you aren't connected to the dns

#

but you shouldn't really need the dns anyway

I was just wondering if there was anything I can do to show the WiiLink EULA. If not, I won’t use it.

Should I just accept the Wii Network EULA? Is it going to restrict features for accepting the wrong EULA?

Is it going to restrict features for accepting the wrong EULA?
No

Okay, good to know!

I just feel like there should be something in the guide, like removing the mention of needing the logo to show up in the EULA, if I know it’s not necessary.

Correct, but you still say it’s recommended. I was just wondering if I was doing it correctly.
