it's still being worked on. as for beta testers, donate $10 or more a month to wiilink for early access
Yeah I saw the patreon
it’s preferred for you to use stripes not patreon
patreon take a larger cut of donations than stripe
you can find stripe links on the wiilink website
speaking of which, (the DS Thing for Wii Room Anywhere using stripe
)
It might prob be finished late 2025 tho
Because of
- Analog to Digital
- Channel support from other TVs
- Use of other TV services like Freeview for Europe Wiis
- Translation to other Languages
Will it work vith vWii ?
Ok so we have 1. Freeview for Europe, 2. Still using G-Guide for Japan? 3. TVGuide.com for USA 4. KBS World Radio TV Guide for South Korea (Predictions are not fully accurate)
Not to mention it's been worked on and still in beta for 4 years
It would still be able to work on vWii for the Wii U
@mint bolt Am I missing anything?
what are you talking about
For what needs to be added
Me neither
Beside ChatGPT is abs worth shit at this type of programming
As I tested this for myself when trying to make my own EPG Website
the devs don't use chatgpt, they actually write code
ik dude surprised they've been working on it for 4 years straight
First known by Luna Valoäa
they haven't really been working on it for all that time
3 then
Born 2000s
Died 2010s
In revival 2020s
Surprised they actually made this work with the TV
exactly
But to implement it they need the use of a TV Guide API which is what was used for G-Guide for the channel's first release
The same as for every other channel that used real world data
Take the code from Freeview's TV Guide for example
It's impossible to get an API from there but it would still work
I would've tried using FreeGuide to help with this problem
Actually I found an android device type tv guide code that could help with this that I found on Github
im not sure what else to find?
dude just wait for the development to finish, what are you looking for?
Something that might help with implementation of a TV guide
And The Websites I checked don't have APIs
dare i say that the devs are also capable of googling publically available tv guides
That also depends. Does the TV Friend Channel's GGuide have an API in use?
sorry, i don't know what you're talking about
The type of key that you can use from other website that is used on other accounts or your account to get the data from their website using that key
So I'm basically saying that they wouldn't have or would have an API from IPG
that's not what an api is
Yeah it is it's a fucking key for example I'm using an open weather API to get data on my website
is there any need to be so aggressive?
anyway, an api is not a key, it's an interface that services can provide to allow developers to make things that interact with the service. some apis need a key to access, but the key isn't the api
Does it use an API Though?
i don't know
what are you talking about
