Follow the instructions here to synchronise your time, then try again. If you still receive the error, try removing the clock battery. If you are still receiving the error after that, ask in #support-text for further help with diagnosing your issue!
Black bar / garbled audio in Wii Room

Japanese error with Wii Update button in Food Channel / Photo Prints Channel
If the system asks you to update, you didn't install WiiLink Address Settings.wad. Using yawmME, go to the location where you put WiiLink Address Settings.wad, then install it by pressing the A Button twice on your Wii remote.
-1022 / -1029 while installing WADs
Using your favorite WAD manager, uninstall the channel, and install again. For yawmME, this means locating the channel WAD, and pressing the - (minus) button on your Wii remote, and pressing A to uninstall. Then, install the WAD again.
110211 in Mail Patcher / Connection Test
Send a picture of the error in this thread, making sure your Wii Number is visible. A staff member will delete your number from the database, resolving the issue for you.
Japanese error with Wii Menu button in Food Channel (Domino’s)
The Food Channel has had a major 1.0 update; follow https://wiilink.ca/guide/update to update it (make sure to also install the new WiiLink Address Settings WAD).

Make sure that your internet connection to your Wii is working by doing a connection test. If it's successful, run the Mail Patcher again. If it fails, your router is incompatible with the Wii. You can potentially fix this by configuring your router to use the 802.11g or 802.11b band alongside the other bands that it uses. For more info, refer to this.

The WiiConnect24 service isn’t activated on your console. Go to Wii Settings → WiiConnect24 and agree to its terms of use. If it reports that “WiiConnect24 and Wii Shop Channel service is not currently being offered”, try changing your Wii’s country setting (for European Wiis, “United Kingdom” is recommended). If it succeeds, you can use AnyGlobe Changer to switch back to your country.
If the issue persists, ensure that “Standby Connection” is enabled in WiiConnect24 settings, and “Parental Controls” are turned off.
I get 221001 when trying to view the EULA
Change your Wii’s country setting (for European Wiis, “United Kingdom” is recommended), and accept the EULA. Then, use the AnyGlobe Changer app in the homebrew channel to change back to your original country.

📨 Not receiving a verification email?
- Try resending first, and wait up to 15 minutes. Check your spam folder.
- Open a private/incognito window and try creating your account again, being very careful you didn’t mistype your email.
- If you are sure you typed it correctly, try adding
accounts@wiilink.cato your contacts/address book, priority, or allowlist. - Some email providers, notably Outlook, block our emails before they reach your Spam. If this is the case, try a different email.
❌ “Invalid Wii console. Please ensure you are registered with WiiLink Wii Mail.”
- Ensure your console has patched Wii Mail. Refer to https://www.wiilink24.com/guide/board/ for a guide on how to do this.
- If you have a duplicate registration error, post your Wii Number in #support-text or #1019738460719943740 and a picture of the error code, and we’ll sort it out for you.

Just press OK. This is a server issue that will be fixed eventually.
