I have a white original Wii with Priiloader 0.8.2 installed. Priiloader is a boot2 replacement that lets you load into Homebrew apps or channels instead of the Wii Menu when it powers on, and other things for modding/brick recovery. I changed the Settings in Priiloader so this Wii loads straight into Homebrew Channel when its turned on.
The problem is that I used the SYNC button to pair all my Wii remotes to my other Black Wii console, and now I can't pair any of the Wii remotes back to the white console. The SYNC button and 1+2 only seems to work when running Wii Menu or official software. The white Wii boots straight into Homebrew Channel when it is powered on, and I can hold the RESET button to load the Priiloader startup menu, but I cannot use either of these programs because I can't connect any new Wii remotes.
There was a Priiloader 0.9 update that added controls using the Wii's front buttons and USB keyboard plugged into the back, but this Wii is stuck on Priiloader 0.8.2. https://wiibrew.org/wiki/Priiloader#Changelog I could buy a GameCube controller and plug that into the Wii to use HBC/Priiloader since I have an older Wii, but I can imagine newer Wii consoles with no GameCube ports being permanently stuck in this old Priiloader + homebrew autoboot state. Does anyone know how to make this old version of Priiloader or HBC load into the Wii/System Menu, without having any controllers?
