I've been having numerous problems with most of the channels from WiiLink. I'll try to list them all here.
Since my vWii is Japanese, I tried booting all the Japanese titles through WiiFlow so I can manually set the language. I've also been using it in case a channel isn't working properly as an alternative. Here are the results for every channel:
Wii Room
Wii Menu
- Does not boot, saying "Wii Room is currently undergoing maintenance. Please try again later." with error code 354608. This seems normal, so I'm not too concerned about it, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
WiiFlow
- Gives error 51420 and forces me to go back to the Wii Menu. This will be a common trend. Wii Room is unique in that it's the only app that provides an option to Reset, which just crashes my vWii.
Photo Prints Channel
Wii Menu
- Works perfectly fine with no issues! This was the first channel I attempted to try, maybe that has something to do with it?
WiiFlow
- Black screen (doesn't matter).
Nintendo Channel
Wii Menu
- Allows me to boot into it, giving me information, including an option to sign up for commercial messages. After opting in, agreeing, etc, I get error 117404. This will also be a common trend.
WiiFlow
- Gives error 051420, which I'm assuming is the same as 51420.
Kirby TV
Wii Menu
- Black screen.
WiiFlow
- Boots, but gives error 51420. It definitely worked in the past through WiiFlow, so something weird's going on.
Food Channel (Domino's)
Wii Menu
- Boots normally, trying to get me to order pizza, however, when I try to see the menu for my Domino's, I get a Japanese error that, when translated through Google Translate, reads "An error occurred on the server. Please wait a while and try again. error code". This, along with the Photo Prints Channel have been the most consistent.
WiiFlow
- Black screen (doesn't matter).
Everybody Votes Channel
Wii Menu
- Everything works completely fine, it's just in Japanese.
WiiFlow
- Same thing, it's just in English now.
Check Mii Out Channel
Wii Menu
- I get a Japanese error that reads "Connection failed. Please check your internet settings or wait a while and try again. Error code: 258404. It was working perfectly fine earlier, and I don't know what happened.
WiiFlow
- Immediately throws error 51420, allowing me to either try again or go back to the Wii Menu. Trying again immediately throws the same error.
News Channel/Forecast Channel
Wii Menu
- Gives error 117404, saying, (translated through Japanese,) "WiiConnect24 service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again at a later time." The News Channel was working perfectly earlier, so I don't know what's happening. When exploring the channels for the first time, I booted the News Channel first. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it...
WiiFlow
- Immediately gives error 051420.
I've been at this all day, scratching my head and trying to wrap my brain around this, trying all sorts of solutions and still nothing. This is incredibly frustrating, and any help would be appreciated. I'll provide any extra details as needed.
